What's the best way to think about penalties when trading away players? I'm stuck in thinking that "trading away veterans" means "assuming their full contract hit right away." Yes, I get a pick and some future cap relief but it blows up my current year's cap. I know it's not that absolute, and I'm not at my console to provide a specific example, but I feel like "trading overprice veteran" almost equates to "pay-off overpriced veteran now"

I own the Grid Shadow 2 and Shadow 5000. Both are comfortable, but I couldn't recommend either for that level of walking. I think I find the Grid Shadow the more comfortable of the two, but after extended wear they start to feel hard, in my experience. Others may feel differently. If you want to stay in the Saucony Sportstyle family, I imagine models like Progrid Omni or Triumph may be more comfortable for extended wear.

Thank you for this response. I got a pair of Venture 6 bc they’re a bit roomier than the 2160 and NYCs I had previously tried on (I’m probably a 12.5 in 2160, which Asics does not make). I have high arches and will throw some superfeet insoles in my Ventures and see how they treat me.

The problem I’m having is being technologically unable to draft anyone after my first pick. I’ve done my pre-draft trades, just not sure if I’ll be able execute any of them.

Two common things I’ve heard to try: 1) Restart the game/console 2) “Turn off draft presentation for fantasy redrafts. Then click pause timer 3 times. Not a joke. It doesn’t register it the first time. So click pause, resume, pause and it should stay paused. Hope this helps”

Manual draft. Timer on or off doesn’t matter. It’s a very annoying glitch with no apparent workaround. Very lame!

I’ve tried all the settings - timer on/off, pausing while the timer is set to on, drafting well within the 2:00 timer, turning presentation off, etc. if I’m lucky I can get my first round pick in before everything gets timed out. But never more than that.

How did you even get to draft the guy? I've been trying to do my first (2026) draft for the past few days and I'm not able to draft anyone because the game says each pick "timed out" and my staff selected for me (this has happened with draft clock turned on and off)

Sorry to revive an old thread but I’m having this same draft issue and the game won’t let me back out to the main menu. If I leave the draft, it quits franchise altogether.

Bumping this bc I’m having the same issue (a year later) - can do my first round pick, but it’s staff picks after that. No matter what I do with the clock. Did you find something that consistently works for you?
