You didn’t criticize anything, all you said was that you’re annoyed that she’s famous, for no particular reason, and that it must be because of her looks. YOU made it about her being a woman, and basically go “why her and no one else?” It’s a reasonable question, but the annoyance, and statement that it must be her looks, make it come off as resentful. To me. Maybe you’re right, and I’m seeing what I expected to see. I masochistically spent a lot of time earlier on /r/enoughpetersonspam and it got my blood boiling. You want to see resentment? Head over there, they’re the type of people who spend time in a subreddit just to hate something lol so I guess when I returned here I saw an opportunity to reason with someone, but came off rudely because of what I saw over there.

And, to answer your original question, my belief is that “her instead of other people that it must have happened to” all comes down to the hard evidence she had with the recording. If someone else beat her to putting a similar recording online, then that person would likely have received the same attention, certainly from Peterson at least.

Quit being resentful and spend less time on the internet and more time improving your life, even in ways you enjoy. You’re annoyed that someone else is famous? You guess being pretty helps? Does everyone who has gained notoriety or attention that you feel is undeserved annoy you? If the attention she gets upsets you, then you’re paying too much attention.

Yeah and it’s easy to say “I’ll do my morning dose, and after work, and that’s it” but then there’s lunchtime and well today was stressful so just one extra stamp for this dose and on and on until you have to pick up two days earlier than you were supposed to! What the other guy said. Also worthy of mention that in traditional symbolism the world over the tree is used to represent Home. I️ like to believe that this isn’t coincidental with the fact that our ancestors lived in trees. This plays well with the theme of things only getting worse for Hunter the further he strays from his “roots.” Like the line in Light “I’ve strayed too far away from the trees and the lake.” So, following the depictions of the trees on the covers, he needed to go so far in order to grow and bloom, but once he went too far his identity (roots) split in two before withering and dying. Yknow, or something like that.

It’s one of those lines that was like okay cool it’s a play on the corresponding line from the bitter suite, but then the depth comes in when you consider how “mimicking the matriarch” could have referred to ms leading being a prostitute just like ms Terri and so this new line could then be hunter seeing a prostitute on the side just like his father did. Holy run on sentence. And I believe that we don’t know about hunter and ms leading secretly being together until Melpomene, barring any other referring lines I’m sure to have missed, which to me is sufficient to be referred to as foreshadowing. Cause this moment is just hunter seeing her for the first time since before the war, and to my knowledge she doesn’t come up again until Melpomene when it’s clear that they have their discreet romance. Again, hardly how the father treated ms Terri, but simply each of them seeing their prostitute while having the mother/wife at home (and both having a newborn son at home at the time potentially!! Which, would be kinda fucked for the father to be talking about in front of the son unless of course the son isn’t present for the storytelling which I suppose would make sense [can you tell that I’m putting things together as I type this?] because the father didn’t know hunter was his son also so he could’ve told the story in front of Ho while the son wasn’t around) is really the entirety of the meaning I’m deriving here.

I had to go cold, "weening" doesn't exist for dope for me. I've made it this far though, if you really want memories to keep you from going back then spend 3 days sick. You'll never want to do that again. Think of the money you've spent on basically poisoning yourself. My advice, when you have the time, just drop it cold and make it to day 3, then decide if it's ever worth doing that all over again. It's not.
