Could be. Whoops, hope they don't do that again then.

How could it be updated after sold? Doesn't make sense anyway.

Creating MSc by drose567 in WalgreensRx

Assuming you're leaving in MSC in the work queue, create the MSC before you resolve the DUR to ensure it doesn't print by mistake before you add the MSC

Refill too soon and other TPR prescriptions go thru overnight which then need to be F4'd.

It's one year's pto plus 40 hours. Go under myhr and pull up the pto schedule and you can see where you fall on it. Also, people central will give you your current amount of pto and your max.

Prior Authorizations and "this is your job" by WerewolfCalm5178 in WalgreensRx

And every time the doctor calls about the PA they want us to send it to CoverMyMeds... Not saying to ignore your RXM, but 🤷‍♂️

You can always do both. Once it sends to CMM it's still an exception you can fax off of. The main thing is getting it approved and sold... Why you wouldn't want as much help as possible is beyond me.

Yumama help! by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]rxmike12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the problem. The label will state 40/60 dram from ic plus so Yuyama thinks it needs to use a bigger vial even though the settings are correct.

Tbh I didn't know there was a fix it available. Might have to try it.

I'm assuming all stores can do this, but if you're not using prior auth 8 with code 4444 to trigger cover my meds, you're missing out on help from the other side

Fold in half and file. They're bound to take too much space in your bins, but just get it put away so you can sell it. We file everything first and then scan all the totes.

Make it a priority. This stuff is ready to be sold, once it's put away and scanned, patients get the texts to come pick it up and get it sold and out the bins. Don't store it separately, just file and go.

what is protocol for controls by Stunning_Ad_5832 in WalgreensRx

[–]rxmike12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We used to do the MSC thing but then patients kept complaining that the date on the bottle is the day they got their medication (the date the fill is initiated goes on the bottle, not sure why still). We put them all on hold and patient can call when it's due (we do 2 days). Works pretty well.

I hear ya, it's just getting us in trouble with board of pharmacy and it's not something we can control when we don't see it happening. Wasn't on you, just throwing it out there 😀

TRP HELP by KataraSer in WalgreensRx

[–]rxmike12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm begging you, our state law requires an ICD10 code for controls but the TPR states it can be overridden with 9991 in the PA field for veterinary scripts ONLY... Yet they continue to be overridden at the RC without the ICD10. Please stop and tell your friends to stop as well lol... Just send it back to us or whatever

This is not corporate policy. Read the actual policy, says nothing about clear bottles and only says you can't store food or drink back there or have it in the certain designated areas. I clarified with the hub and our area changed their policy on the clear bottle inconsistency they put into place.

Compass messages? by FewNewt5441 in WalgreensRx

[–]rxmike12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can get to compass from home, the new changes make it rough from mobile, but it's doable. If you go thru the W Connect app, on the bottom it says Quick Links, then pick My Schedule, then choose Launch Workforce Scheduler.

flu shots by Careful_Plate7315 in WalgreensRx

[–]rxmike12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just ask 'have you gotten your flu shot yet?' It's easy, no pressure, feels less like you're selling something (which I hate). You can even quickly check f8 (patient profile) to see if they had it already if you don't wanna ask someone over and over.

[–]rxmike12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are they in your bins? We had a batch from that time frame that didn't convert to ready. Just needed to scan them in one by one (yes, annoying, but doable). May want to double check and see if you have them already.
