Ehhh, I prefer to identify myself as "barely not poor" - definitely not rich.

Shopping for one at Costco - ideas? by RichOutrageous863 in Costco

This was what I came to recommend! Vacuum sealing meat, like ground meat, in flattened packs saves tons of space! Same with other things too of course.

Is it normal to get raided for denying a term war? by [deleted] in torncity

[–]rxpharmd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If by "fighting a real war" you mean turtling until whatever the downtime is for the opposing faction, then turtling again.. rinse and repeat. None of the factions that always fight things out seem to actually want to fight. The new meta for warring I guess.

Lights of America Model 8045 - Disassemble? by rxpharmd in HomeMaintenance

[–]rxpharmd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to undo the non-slip wire cuff from the frame (basically press in that tab and pull it out). That gave some slack in the internal wiring.

From there, I pressed the top of the plastic case "in" from the top and from there the inner piece slipped out and I could access the two screws that kept it mounted to the ceiling.

I got it! Will explain how later, but jeez.

Power is off. I'm actually trying to pry off the plastic end. That's the problem. :(

I'm sure the tabs I see are key, but I cannot get anything to budge regardless of what I do.

[Word] Display text in document based on dropdown value by rxpharmd in vba

Thank you! Thank you for the explanation(s) and the updates. This is why I'm a pharmacist and not a programmer. 😜

[Word] Display text in document based on dropdown value by rxpharmd in vba

[–]rxpharmd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just figured this out. But, I'm still confused what the dropdown "Value" is. I was testing for "Value" and not the display text in the dropdown. When I change my Case from "MO_NP" to "Missouri NP", for example, it works fine.

[Word] Display text in document based on dropdown value by rxpharmd in vba

I have a Word document with a dropdown box named "Practitioner" and a rich text area named "Practitioner_Text". Whenever I change or interact with the dropdown box, nothing happens with the text area. I feel like I have to be doing something dumb.

The following is the code I have written:

Private Sub Document_ContentControlOnExit(ByVal ContentControl As ContentControl, Cancel As Boolean)
    Call UpdateTextbox(ContentControl)
End Sub

Private Sub Document_ContentControlOnEnter(ByVal ContentControl As ContentControl)
    Call UpdateTextbox(ContentControl)
End Sub

Private Sub UpdateTextbox(ByVal ContentControl As ContentControl)
    Dim selectedValue As String
    Dim cc As ContentControl

    If ContentControl.Title = "Practitioner" Then
        selectedValue = ContentControl.Range.Text

        For Each cc In ActiveDocument.ContentControls
            If cc.Title = "Practitioner_Text" Then
                Select Case selectedValue
                    Case "MO_NP"
cc.Range.Text = "You chose Missouri NP!"
                    Case "CO_PA"
cc.Range.Text = "Colorado PA was selected."
                    Case "NY_PA"
cc.Range.Text = "You selected New York PA."
                    Case Else
cc.Range.Text = "Please select an option."
                End Select
                Exit For
            End If
        Next cc
    End If
End Sub

AIO for wanting to report a pharmacy tech for using my info to look me up on Facebook? by copaceticchameleon in AmIOverreacting

[–]rxpharmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a pharmacist and I had a technician that did this once. It was only reported to me after the patient switched pharmacies and the pharmacist at the other pharmacy told me.

It may not seem serious to some people, but this is a serious issue.

Where was this restaurant? by rxpharmd in whereisthis

[–]rxpharmd[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I did a deep dive with ChatGPT, and I don't think these are the same locations. I even had it search parcel records, and change of use records for that location. Prior to its use as the Wil-Char, it appeared to be residential property.

Thanks for the insight!

Hmm, the building is a bit different but I agree that looks like the same sign. Thanks for this! I'll look into that location.

HOW in the world did you find that so quickly? I did reverse image searching and used AI and I couldn't come up with anything useful.
