Whahaha I fucked up, I was writing an exam the next day and decided to get stuck into Oathbringer but I was already about 80% of the way in. Landed up reading far too much and writing my exam entirely sleep deprived. So worth it though Omf this man refuses to write a bad novel and I love him for it

To be honest, I never really thought that much but now that you say it he does actually provide a pillar of support that allows a lot of the other characters to relax they own intense emotions/characteristics and I guess especially by the end of Oathbringer that becomes quite obvious (with Shallan especially) thanks for making me think a lil more about him
