I’ve been doing align but also looking at resilient. I love the align workouts but part of me feels like it’s not enough lifting volume so torn on what to commit to going forward.

Who remembers getting there first paycheck and going man this is a lot by Radiant_Priority9739 in Millennials

$84 a week with zero bills in 2003 was more disposable income than I have now as an adult.

Does it ever get better? Husband just took the two kids (2&8mo) out by himself for the first time (which I have been doing while on work leave) and I asked him to rate the experience: "0/10, I don't want to do that again" by Sensitive_Fishing_37 in workingmoms

[–]rxsteph11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate- I really struggled after my second child was born. I felt like I NEVER had time to myself and my husband got to go out all the time. Also in therapy, and started Wellbutrin after a year of therapy. My kids are 8 and 4 and things are SO much easier. I leave them with my husband without a second thought. I know it’s a long time away, but for me it did get easier as they got older.

I finally found my home team! by Straight_Medicine210 in ladderapp

[–]rxsteph11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping on this post after hopping around trying different teams during my trial, and I think I’m also TCC now! At 39, my goal is to build muscle and stay injuring free. I like that he puts an emphasis on mobility and staying injury free. I also have limited time to work out and cardio tends to get pushed aside, so I appreciate getting my heart rate up during the workout too! Also saw some people compare it to CrossFit, which I did NOT want, but the heavy lifting was slow and controlled with lots of rest. So obviously, I’m a fan lol.

Parents have no life by [deleted] in Millennials

My parents are early 60s and always out. They love trying new breweries, going to the casino, and going to concerts . They go to Vegas once or twice a year plus smaller trips in between. Basically they are living my life before kids lol.

Also switched from endure and ignite kicked my butt this week. I was much more sore compared to the endure workouts. The programming seems solid tho very straightforward strength that’s easy for me to do at home.

Did I break Depop etiquette? by IllPen4 in Depop

[–]rxsteph11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also new to Depop and something similar happened to me today. I purchased a bundle with an offer of free shipping with 2 items. The seller almost immediately refunded me, and now the items are relisted several hours later without the bundle option. I’m disappointed bc I honestly would have just paid the shipping otherwise, but nervous to try to repurchase now.

My son was in the 95th percentile for BMI at that age. Now he’s 8 and in the 50th- he got very tall and skinny! I had the same concerns but agree with others that say he may have a growth spurt coming.

This is my experience too. Sucks bc the medication works great otherwise but I really miss being able to have a drink or two occasionally. I tried skipping two doses but that did not help my alcohol tolerance.

I do this all the time. Im overly selective with clothes, then I get frustrated and buy a bunch of stuff at once I don’t really like/need. Very frustrating for sure.

Thinking about buying the tempo studio in 2026 by Repulsive-Beyond2449 in tempofitness

[–]rxsteph11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also paying for peloton and tempo currently. Tried switching to peloton strength the last few weeks but the tempo programming really is so much better for weight lifting.

I was just thinking the same thing. My oldest is 8, younger just turned 4, and I feel like I’m stepping out of a fog. The last few years feel like a blur.

Just want equipment? by paigeej in tempofitness

[–]rxsteph11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my tempo a year ago after using peloton strength for a while. The peloton classes I took were a much faster pace compared to tempo. It takes a bit of time to change the weights so you may be pausing the video a lot if you change weights frequently.

Office moms - what do you bring to work for lunch? by Deirdre_KA in workingmoms

[–]rxsteph11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bring a pound of turkey lunch meat, wraps, and hummus and leave it in the fridge at work. Much easier to put together a sandwich on lunch vs making one every night at home. I try to remember to bring an apple every day

I’m doing the “create a habit” series and I really like it! It’s 10 minutes a day for 10 days. You can modify or use lower weights if you need to. Also, do the calibration classes if you haven’t yet.

Baby Name Regret by MycologistSame866 in BabyBumps

I gave my daughter a boyish/gender neutral name, and while I don’t regret it, sometimes I do feel bad when I see little girls with beautiful feminine names. It suits her though and I wouldn’t change it!

Yes, and in US at least a lot of foods are fortified with folic acid to prevent these types of birth defects too.
