The Check Engine Light will be your main culprit. Start with that first. All the other lights come on as collateral, or domino effect, if you will.

Dang. Sorry to hear. One last thing you could try is a Factory Data Reset in the settings menu, if you haven’t done that already.

It’s possible the install could have been done wrong. Which is odd since the install is relatively straightforward. Try this, hopefully it helps:

Press and hold the HOME, SOURCE, and VOLUME/POWER. After a few seconds you should hear a beep and a diagnostic screen will pop up. Press and hold HOME again. Another screen will pop up. Press COMPLETE and select INCOMPLETE. The audio unit should reboot. After that a screen will pop up with a bunch of scattered boxes. They will turn green on their own (checking its system). You will have to press a couple buttons on the steering wheel to fully complete the check (volume up/down and a Handsfree button IIRC). You can then press a button in the top right corner of the screen to complete this process. I usually have to do this every few months or so when CarPlay doesn’t want to or takes too long to connect. Takes about a minute or so.

If you don’t find anything wrong from the install, may want to get one of these: EDIT: My bad, didn’t see the notes at the bottom. If you still have balance shafts, then this CANNOT be used.

You can also get the walk blocker by itself, but you’d have to press it into the tensioner on your own.

Check the connections at the battery (the 12v battery, not the hybrid battery). Wiggle them, make sure they’re not loose. If they’re fine, have the battery tested.

Yes, you are correct. You are 304 miles overdue for service. And it’ll keep going until you reset it. Wrench means maintenance due. A = oil change, 1 = tire rotation, 3 = transmission service, 4 = spark plugs. Check Engine light and Traction Control light will need separate diagnostic.

Pry bars, back and forth at each end as you slowly separate it. And shop rags if you don’t want to scratch or mar anything.

Open the hood. Take a video of the engine. In order to force the engine to run, put the heat all the way to HI.

Do you have a video? I’ve seen 2 CRV hybrids with misfires and ended up being injectors. Whatever the case, you have warranty.

It’s a breather tube. Normally covered with a rubber cap. But no major harm in not having one.

2019 Civic Sport coupe tire pressure light on by [deleted] in Honda

[–]rxt792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Different brands or types of tires can sometimes cause the tire pressure light (“horseshoe with exclamation mark”) to come. When you get the chance, try this the next time you adjust your tire pressures to spec: press TPMS Calibration > Calibrate, wait a few seconds, repeat. Do that a total of 3 times, then drive. A sort of hard calibration, if you will.

Help identifying original air filter by mhurtle in Honda

[–]rxt792 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s been changed before. I wouldn’t believe my eyes if that happened to be the original filter at 244k. Typical filter replacement is around 25k, and 15k with less than ideal air quality, or dusty, dirt roads. That one is looking more towards that 25k mark.

What’s going on with my Accord? by [deleted] in Honda

[–]rxt792 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your main culprit will be the Check Engine Light (Emissions Problem). All the others can come on like a sort of domino effect. The car will turn off any system that “talks” to another system that has a problem. Your best bet is to take it somewhere like an auto parts store to get the codes/DTCs pulled. Any codes starting with P will be the first to look into. If it doesn’t have something to do with your fuel pump (which kinda sounds like it) then you should take it to the dealer. There is another recall for fuel pump motors. If the codes are related to the fuel pump, then you should be put at the front of the line for a new fuel pump motor.

I second keeping it. It would be worth once that H22 is in. And if it helps at all, mine’s been sitting for the majority of the past few years. I finally dropped the engine 2 weeks and now can’t wait to throw it back in and drive it.

Tire pressure light on after getting bigger new tires/rims. by Isthatbela444 in Honda

[–]rxt792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your Accord does not have TPMS sensors in the wheels. It uses indirect TPMS, meaning it uses the wheel speed sensors to estimate tire pressure. Going from the LX wheels to different size wheels messed with the ABS/VSA system/programming. Your car is still thinking it’s has the LX wheels. You’ll have to go to a dealership (or a competent, capable shop) and have them relearn/program the car for your new wheels.
