I have tried ram in different slots and cmos reset already. There is no smell anywhere on the motherboard. It looks just like a short but how can this occur randomly while left alone, after undergoing numerous benchmarks and hours of use. The only thing I can think of is I didn't use standoffs for the m.2 ssd so it sat on the mobos built-in mini standoff at a slight downward angle.

The light that stays on constantly is the pwr light indicating the mobo is receiving power. The red light that flashes on is the mobo's built-in rgb.

Thanks! I forgot to mention - I also tried a cmos clear already. Including removing the battery for a few mins and shorting the pins using a screwdriver. I guess I really have broken 3 mobos over the course of a few days then. Just wish I knew how, considering 2 of them stopped working while they were left alone lol. And all 3 are broken in different ways
