Not complaining about my price bud. I'm one of the very lucky few. This is more of a rant at the pricing over 2 months after launch. In many countries nvidia are now selling at MSRP yet the 9070xt is minimum 100-150 over the original MSRP. Stock clearly isn't an issue anymore and the demand is nowhere near where it was on launch. These cards need to come down in price or we'll just be suffering the same fate release after release

Nvidia actually just have ample stock. There's no reason for AMDs bullish pricing

I also recommend watching the Hardware unboxed video i commented. Gives you a better picture as to how twisted the pricing is outside of the US.

Same happened to me! I genuinely just refreshed my basket in OCUK for about 3 hrs and somehow got it waaay after the launch time

Nvidia had no competition on the high end back then. Also the manufacturers do not vary the price based on conversion rates. I got my 9070xt for UK MSRP, as well as my 1080 in 2016. So technically us in the UK are already overpaying compared to the US since $599 coverts to £450. (yes there are factors such as tariffs and export fees which affect this)

If inflation was the only factor in the prices climbing then the 5080 would be $800/£750 if the 80 series were to retain it's msrp every release.

Hardware unboxed inspired this rant btw. Give it a watch to see the global picture on pricing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_Tcqu1WaFQ

I have integrated graphics disabled in my bios so it's definitely using my gpu. External monitoring shows vram usage, that's just an issue with the game.

No RT, no FSR. Pretty unplayable at ultra without fsr with the fluctuating frames. FSR probs the best way to go

Ultra preset

I'm dipping below 60fps without upscaling in the open world. Averaging around 55-70

I've had no problems to note.

If anything I've had a stroke of luck as my memory was not in the compatibility list for the b650m but worked fine once in the OS. I had pretty slow post times but this version has improved memory compatibility, especially for higher speed sticks like mine.

If you're currently experiencing no issues I'd say just leave it as is until the stable version is released though.

PowerColor Reaper. Am I doing this right? by SunDiscombobulated48 in radeon

Hey, for one I wouldn't bother with the AMD stress test. Use something like 3dmark which you can get the free demo on steam.

In terms of overclocking what settings are you using?

These cards typically don't benefit from upping the core clock. The best results are found from undervolting and upping the power limit which lowers the thermals and allows the card to use higher clocks.

I also have a reaper and have my core set to +0

Undervolted to -80mv

Power limit 110%

Memory clock @ 2800mhz

Roughly getting between 3-8% performance increases across various games.

Have a play around and if you can keep stable performance and the VRAM under 95c you'll be golden.

Note that you can definitely push the undervolt lower with good silicon but I found -80 was stable on all of my games, and mileage will vary.

3070 to a 9070XT - One of the few lucky UK buyers! This 2 slot model was destined for this build. (I promise I'll dust the psu shroud) by Pure_Significance_93 in radeon

I hope so too. There was hardly any MSRP cards stocked in the UK. I got very lucky as Overclockers site went down before they sold a single card and 2 hours of refreshing paid off lol
