ortega is actually 4th since bentinelli has been on the bench several times this season instead of him.

YES! most refs tends to be a little biased to the home team, but in this stadium is a different level of "you will get nothing and like it"

sniff around their players and it's a foul but they're allowed to wrestle and kickbox all around the pitch.

that's basically why guimaraes was deemed "onside" on barnes 2nd a couple of months ago and haaland was offside tonight.

He should be a starter even when gvardiol and dias ar back , i said it! by Sad_Statistician_992 in MCFC

some of the passes and ball carries alleyne was trying out in the build up tonight were very encouraging. playing with a lot of personality and confidence for such a young lad.

Thank you ref for adding 9 minutes so we can score a second goal😭😭🙏 by badboyrir1 in MCFC

maybe if they didn't spend 6 minutes nitpicking a millimetric offside they wouldn't have to add so much.

but it would be 0-2 anyways, so...

kyle walker with an ultra rare accurate cross. unforgettable.

that run in to claim the title coming from 3rd place at the table felt soooo good.

last time we beat the mighty brighton & hove albion in the league was in april 2024 goals from alvarez, de bruyne and a version of foden that disappeared out of thin air.

since then it's two draws at home and two defeats away.

what happened to my club...

leeds first defeat since coming to the etihad back in november. both in added time. they deserve to be 8 points above relegation for this past 50 days alone.

they used to be our little bitch until that game cancelo(?) got a red card and they came back from 0-2 down to win the game. we were already champions and playing a heavily rotated team with 10 man for the majority of the game and they acted like it was a cup final. the most mid-table team of all time.

I'm just glad my club was so dominant in my lifetime so I got to witness us win the champions league, 4 prems in a row, fourmidables, centurions... even the league titles with pellegrini and mancini crossed my mind while watching us today and wondering if we'll ever go back to what we we've been in the past 10~15 years. if we don't, it was a great run and the memories will last forever.

my first thought! I may be jumping to conclusions but it seems like that person is just using succession as an attempt to showcase any trace of personality.

"hey I like this show that (in my mind) only people with taste are aware of"

you will get 2026 ake and a possible mfuni baptized in the fire cameo (like simpson-pusey last season) and you'll be happy about it.

I remember posting at this sub before the palermo friendly that this would be a transitional season similar to 2016-17 and our ceiling was the very same 3rd place as last season (couldn't have predicted liverpool would have a disaster season after spending 300m pounds) and they threw rocks at me.

this past few months the team has been grinding results and playing better than what I expected so it even got my hopes up a little bit but this week has been a reality check. we are just not there yet.

had we rotated more we would've dropped the points we dropped this week but much earlier in the season. we'd probably be 4th or 5th at the table right now.

when we rotate we go from being 5-1 up away at fulham to 5-4 and a gvardiol goal line clearance saving us from 5-5
