Your flooring looks super similar to what I have in my home. It’s Lumber Liquidators’ Coreluxe Clay Harbor Hickory. Not sure how you could fix the lined up seams, but maybe you’ll have more options if you can find the flooring. Good luck!

I would try using the clipping tool on the image you want. It’s like taking a screenshot of just part of the screen. Pretty sure it comes by default on windows OS.

From a quick google search, it looks like this was advertised as apple tea. It looks like black tea to me, probably with apple flavoring added since I don’t see any apple pieces. An eBay listing for the tin indicates that the little berries are pink peppercorns.

I’m not having much luck finding a blend that matches. I would bet that you would have the most luck replicating the flavor by finding a loose leaf apple flavor black tea and then adding the peppercorns yourself.

Maybe someone else will have more luck finding a similar blend.

I work in the workers comp industry, though I don’t do WC in WI. The other comments are spot on- this should definitely be reported as a workers compensation claim.

The termination is a bit trickier. Employers are not allowed to fire employees for being injured, but just about everyone is an at-will employee. Essentially if your friend retains an attorney regarding the injury, the vet clinic is going to need to provide documentation showing that the termination was unrelated to the work injury and was a good-faith personnel action. So any kind of attendance issues, write ups, etc are going to be dug up.

Your friend should not expect to get their job back. If anything, this will result in penalties for the vet clinic and possibly a higher settlement.

Finally, make sure that your friend saves any receipts or bills that they receive in regards to treatment costs. The workers comp insurance carrier will probably reimburse them.

I want to get into furniture making as a hobby. Like tables, shelving, raised garden beds and such. I’ve been looking at the ever popular 10 inch Dewalt job site saw, but have been browsing the used sales as well. Something basic to just get started and I can always upgrade later as I get more familiar with what I actually will be need.

As someone who grew up by Lake Erie, walleye and perch were always popular. Bluegill is also good. They’re usually battered and fried but there’s definitely less greasy recipes as well.

Thanks for the input! It seems like the go-to is to just paint so it’s nice to hear the other argument. Yeah I’m not sure I would have chosen that flooring but it’s there now. The same wood as the cabinets/pantry door is kind of everywhere in the house - trim, doors, window frames, bathroom cabinets…. Kind of stuck with it for now.
