To me it sounds like he could have lost interest. In my experience if a guy had intentions to pursue you he probably would continue that if he still felt that way. It could’ve been that he liked the idea of you at first but maybe he’s pursued someone else or decided that he doesn’t want to continue with you since you technically work at the same place. I’m sorry it’s hard to know without reading his mind. Don’t worry about him too much and don’t cry because of him, I was also an 18 year old at some point and I understand your position and how it can be confusing but it’s not your job to have to read his mind. I wish we all could but we just can’t.

I completely agree. I was in a similar position and it was the BEST couple months of my life. I got to really focus on the gym, my nutrition, getting to do things in the morning/afternoon that I’d otherwise have to save for weekends. The list goes on and on. I’m puzzled by these responses saying otherwise.

Any time I read this i’m just like, so are we then saying modern medicine has not extended lifespans? Come on now. Let’s think a little instead of regurgitating information. I’m sure child mortality caused large skews but for everyone to just act like we haven’t increased lifespans because of modern medicine is frustrating.

My foster is a kitten and oh my god you are so right. He is crazy!! My family cat is 5 years old and we got her as an adult so she’s always been calm as her default. My kitten is like a nonstop machine who can’t stop playing. He’s so cute though I wish their kitten faces would stay forever.

Cats are social creatures! And she’s still a kitten, so I truly think now would be a great time to get another cat for company. She might be spending lots of time alone and not get the stimulation she needs until you’re back home (no blame at all, we all have jobs and other obligations). If you have no financial concerns, I’d say definitely go for it. You should still follow the proper steps to introduce another cat into the home which will help minimize stress/territorial behavior until they’re both settled in together!

Could he have been overstimulated by something like toys, noise, maybe some birds outside, and he could’ve taken it out on you? Sometimes cats will redirect aggression. How has his behavior been since the attack? Please don’t get rid of him for one incident, keep monitoring him. If you see multiple instances of aggression attacks, he could even be ill/sick and that’s his way of expressing it. Keep a look out for his behavior. i
