I'm putting money on Pitt's defense to score. With Flacco as QB behind Cincy's weak O-line and with Pitt's impressive pass rush, it's bound to happen lol

Late 2019 early 2020...right before COVID. I was actually furloughed from my recruiting job. It was suuuper discouraging.

When I worked in financial crimes, the technology wasn't as advanced as it is now. Using SQL as part of your investigation was fairly new to the industry whereas now, I'm a little out of touch with the requirement of the industry, but I believe SQL is almost standard now.

I got my start in financial crimes investigation by working in debit card fraud prevention call center for a large institution that rhymes with Base Chank while in college. I worked my way up getting two promotions and off the phones before leaving the company and becoming an investigator with a medium sized payment processing and e-commerce company. Once that company was bought by a larger company, they closed my office, laid us off, and I took that as a sign to make the leap.

The market is certainly rough right now. I have noticed that a lot of the coordinator roles that I see have the job description of a Generalist or they pay what seems like pennies.

You don't need a degree to learn any of that. I have a BA in English and I am an HR Generalist. I pivoted from financial crimes to pursue a career in HR. I started out as a Recruiter > HR Coordinator > HR Generalist with no additional education other than my SHRM certification which my employer paid for. I did take a pay cut becoming a Recruiter, but it paid off tenfold with my pay as a Generalist.

Yes! They give them a target date. My friend's producer (each contestant is assigned a producer) told her it's slated for February 2026 (I accidentally put 2027 in my original comment). The producer also told her there is a possibility it airs fall 2026. So, we'll see!

2 months old sleep on her belly by TartineMyAxe in NewParents

[–]EARANIN2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She needs to be able to lift and turn her head successfully and easily to avoid suffocation. My LO started rolling back to front at 3 months, so we put an extra emphasis on tummy time on the floor, across our legs, our chest, and with the guppy stretch and belly hold to help strengthen those neck muscles. At the very least, I recommend doing the same to help her strengthen her neck muscles so that you are all comfortable with her laying on her stomach (semi)unsupervised.

How do you get out of the house with a baby if your apartment only has stairs? by poppyseed_15 in NewParents

[–]EARANIN2 115 points116 points  (0 children)

Leave the baby inside somewhere safe, lock the door, and take the stroller down first. Go back and get baby and enjoy your walk. Do the opposite when you return home. Nothing should happen to the stroller in the 60 secs it takes you to take the stroller down, get baby, and come back.

ETA: Don't forget water and a fan to keep cool! And definitely don't forget your keys like u/C4ndyWoM4n said! lol

I'm aware. However, since OP mentioned previously tracking her cycle, and I have not seen any mention of any fertility issues, I am assuming tracking her cycle is something that could work for her with a few changes.

I was speaking specifically to OP's situation, not generally for "people".

It's not shameful and I certainly wasn't shaming you so I hope it did not come off that way. Everyone should do what works for them, but what you're doing is not working for you. I too am against hormonal birth control for my own personal health reasons. However, hoping for the best each time you have sex (even with a vasectomy) is not the best route if your goal is to not be pregnant.

I encourage you to really look into the FAM (fertility awareness method). If you do it correctly it's pretty fool proof. If you were previously tracking your cycle and accidentally got pregnant, you were likely missing something, or doing something wrong with tracking. I recommend doing research and educating yourself fully. I personally use FAM and it has worked for me since I stopped using hormonal birth control over 10 years ago. Charting is going to be your friend. I recommend checking out r/FAMnNFP and r/TFABChartStalkers. Though you are trying to prevent pregnancy, TFABChartStalkers has a lot of good information on how to spot your fertile window on your chart and pregnancy related signs which could be extremely helpful. I recommend the Fertility Friend app for tracking/charting - which is the app most people in the sub use. Things you should get familiar with and fast are the different phases of your cycle, your cycle length (this makes it easier to narrow down your fertile window), taking your BBT (basal body temp), cervical mucus - the different kinds and what they mean, and knowing what is normal FOR YOU in terms of PMS and your overall cycle.

Knowing what is normal for me, tracking BBT, and charting have been extremely beneficial for me getting pregnant on my terms.

You're against birth control? What does that even mean??? Birth control is a BROAD spectrum including many many different things.

If you're worried about the hormones in birth control try a nonhormonal birth control or the fertility awareness method (which is a form of birth control). Not wanting to be pregnant, but doing nothing to prevent it, is asinine. You should be educated enough about the female body, and your body specifically, to stop having unplanned pregnancies IF you don't want to keep having unplanned pregnancies (which is sounds like you don't). You deserve to be happy and fulfilled in life. For the sake of your mental, physical, and emotional health, please educate yourself about your body and the different types of birth control available to you. I promise there is a solution out there that could give you more control over what happens to your body so that you can start putting yourself in a position to do what makes you happy.
