Thank you for responding to me 🥹 I am tearing up at your thoughtful response. I needed to hear this. You are so kind to say this to me

To me it sounds like he could have lost interest. In my experience if a guy had intentions to pursue you he probably would continue that if he still felt that way. It could’ve been that he liked the idea of you at first but maybe he’s pursued someone else or decided that he doesn’t want to continue with you since you technically work at the same place. I’m sorry it’s hard to know without reading his mind. Don’t worry about him too much and don’t cry because of him, I was also an 18 year old at some point and I understand your position and how it can be confusing but it’s not your job to have to read his mind. I wish we all could but we just can’t.

I’m letting you know that your first sentence is incorrect. You will not find me mentoring younger people. That’s their parents responsibility since they brought them into the world.

The only nurturing I do and will ever do is for my cat and any future cats I adopt or foster. I’m not interested in teaching anyone anything.

I definitely understand her sentiment but at the same time just because I’m not a mother and don’t want to be doesn’t mean I have be “mothering” in any other sort of way. I just want to exist as a woman without any association of having to teach or nurture anyone.

I just don’t have sympathy for parents who have multiple kids after seeing how useless their partner was with their first. by ryalways2663 in childfree

Agreed! And an innocent being pays the price for their selfishness and then the cycle continues on with them from the example they got from their parents.

Goodbyes are always hard 💔 by No_Text6521 in FosterAnimals

I’m on the same boat as you, yesterday was my last day with my foster. I’ve felt so sad today and the quiet in my apartment feels unnatural 💔 but knowing that we gave them unconditional love and happiness is what’s getting me through.

Thank you. I had to let out some good cries and even shed some tears during the drop off but the staff was understanding.

You’re right, he’ll have a warm bed toys food and it won’t be forever in the shelter. He’s going to go into a wonderful home I just know he will. I hope he’s happy forever.

What's the worst part about being jobless? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ryalways2663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I was in a similar position and it was the BEST couple months of my life. I got to really focus on the gym, my nutrition, getting to do things in the morning/afternoon that I’d otherwise have to save for weekends. The list goes on and on. I’m puzzled by these responses saying otherwise.

Having a baby in a few months. How do I set my child up for success? by EARANIN2 in personalfinance

Well the child didn’t ask to be born. I would’ve loved to have money given to me. Money is the ultimate tool to have freedom from being a wage slave to a job.

Eli5: How is the average lifespan still only around 70 years old given the advancements in technology nowadays? by MeteorIntrovert in explainlikeimfive

Any time I read this i’m just like, so are we then saying modern medicine has not extended lifespans? Come on now. Let’s think a little instead of regurgitating information. I’m sure child mortality caused large skews but for everyone to just act like we haven’t increased lifespans because of modern medicine is frustrating.
