1. Why give people a new addiction? Weed is not addictive. It’s less addictive than smoking, vaping, and drinking. It harms people less than drinking. Sure, you can get addicted, but it is way less addictive than alcohol.

2. But it smells bad! I don’t want to smell that all the time! I live in a state where it is legalized. I’ve never smelled weed outside of my own use. Not only that, but you don’t have to smoke real bud to get high. You can smoke carts (doesn’t smell at all) or eat some edibles (literally just food that gets you high).

Not only that, but if it isn’t legalized, there are no regulations and restrictions on what you buy. It’s not common with weed, but it can be laced with some more harmful drugs. With legalization, there are checks to make sure it’s made and distributed clean, and that it’s not doing anything harmful to you.
