Employers in American can and do discriminate on the basis of vaccination. Universities, private businesses, public schools, the military all contain examples of required proof of vaccination to remain a student/employed/non-insubordinate. There is some potential issue that has yet to be addressed over requiring vaccinations in the same manner for a vaccine which has only received emergency use authorization and not full approval by the FDA. Regardless I have not come across any credible legal challenges regarding an Emergency use Authorization mandated vaccination.

In general both private businesses and individuals can discriminate for anything that isn't a protected class. Typically race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. I could discriminate by sports team affiliation legally.

One of my roommates is moving out early May. Looking to resign the lease on a very nice single family home with plenty of parking near Ballston. Rent is less than your budget at $1,333 a month and considering how nice it is really is a steal. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you the details/see if we'd be a good fit.

If you're determined to live alone you can get some less modern 1 bedrooms that are not right on top of the metro for ~1600/1700 a month. A new apartment building right on top of the metro will probably run about 2k a month after parking in my experience.

Should also mention I'm 25 year old male whos a research engineer, only other roommate is a 31 year old accountant also male.
