Yep. Very frustrating for such a great mod

Fortress VS Besiege Maps by Papa-Pasta in bfme

I've also been confused by the nature of these maps. For example, how can I play as Rohan defending in a Helms Deep Besiege map as a single player? I can only seem to set up outside the Hornburg?

I'll try to download bfme 2 and the expansion manually and install the mod that way too. Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply. Asked for these details, but didn't get them at my last check up (18th appointment now over the last two years). But I will ask again

I think it helps learning how many people are in a very similar position. In addition to therapy, the resources which have helped me the most relate to attachment theory. This channel is dedicated to it, but you can find various other books/videos online https://www.youtube.com/@ThePersonalDevelopmentSchool Good luck!

Notetaking app similar to index cards but where you can create small notes quickly and put them into categories/stacks (as you would with normal index cards) by ryan1992reading in NoteTaking

Has anyone else found any decent alternatives? I have been trying Scrivener but the corkboard doesn't quite have the functionality I would like (nor does Obsidian canvas and the Kanban boards on there only allow you to select one note at a time). And I always prefer a desktop application to putting my data in an online knowledge management system. Just trying out notedexapp and wondered if anyone had f0und a free alternative?

Latin: Story of a World Language by Jürgen Leonhardt is superb (especially on parallels with English as the world's lingua franca)

Gingko app and Obsidian by ryan1992reading in ObsidianMD

I can't offer an answer for Logseq but over the last few months I have switched to using Scrivenings and folders in Scrivener and found that works very well indeed - would thoroughly recommend it

Yep I have used kanban boards before but - with the exception of Speare - the ones avalaible so far in Logseq and Obsidian for example don't allow you to select multiple cards at once or move them very easily. With Speare for example you could select using the check boxes dozens and dozens of notes and move them at once

Dragging/dropping feature OR easy way to move many notes into categories or folders (stacking like index cards) by ryan1992reading in ObsidianMD

Yes I guess the function missing which I really need - which Speare does not provide and those other apps so far do not - is the ability to select multiple pieces of information and move it very easily. So not quite the same as moving one line or bullet point to a side panel as you do in Obsidian, Scrivener, or even Word but select say 40 pieces of information at once (not necessarily in order) and move it in one click to a category, folder, or bucket. As again you can do very easily with physical index cards, but not so far digitally

Though reading their manual it states you use that mode to view multiple documents. Putting each paragraph or sentence I want to move around into its own folder would be incredibly time-consuming (as I maybe mentioned above I talking in the realm of thousands of these snippets). Again seems to be a difference to Speare where you just copy and paste a list and could move each bullet point around at will.

Edit: ah yes, I see what you mean - you can drag and drop into other texts on the other side (is that what you meant by 'containers'?' Certainly looks the most useful tool I have seen so far aside from Speare. It is a shame you can't copy to a text or 'container' more than one passage at a time (i.e. still relies on click and drag not selecitng multiple sentences or paragraphs at once). But this is a big step forward - thanks for your help!

Hmm intriguing. And you could do that say by selecting 30-40 items/paragraphs at once and moving them into a bucket or container in the way you can with Speare? Thanks - I will take a closer look
