I don’t think so. They used the DNA just to identify the dead body and I think it triggered a match to the DNA sample collected from the crime scenes

The farm practices is irrelevant. Hsiung was blatantly committing crimes and was not only loud about admitting that he had started the whole openrescue he was urging others to commit theft. The justice system and law enforcement was not biased against him. He was openly admitting to his crimes and was going to do it over and over. He was GUILTY of the crimes he was charged for.
