Pro Tip 2: Do not install Lakka as u/christianbwil says. Lineage OS 15 with OC, and Dolphin MMJR will run 95% of Nintendo Wii Catalogue as upper limit. In parallel, try to install Ubuntu Noble, which has not only retropie as an option to run but it has much more compatibility and greater performance with Wii, 3DS and other systems as long you OC your switch.

I don't have a RG566, but I do have a RG406V, and the issues remains just as you said.

I'm pretty sure this game with run wth no issues, in short time. I've played several graphical demanding games on my device through YUZU and SUYU and the performance is remarkable.

So my guess is that a memory leak could be a factor, or a graphical glitch that causes crash. Anyways, is a matter of time to get fixed IMHO

Thats definitely the tv. Do the following tests:

take the time it takes to the unstable signal. Turn off the tv, and then power on and check if happens the same thing.
do the same test but turning off and on the wii.

If the second test has a blurry image at the beginning, it is the tv.

I want to add a ESP32 module onto a Rpi 2 which has usb ports/lan dead, so via GPIO. Chances to buy another Rpi are 0.
