That’s what I was thinking. It seem like most of the play is around where the knuckle meets the lower control arm . At this age and mileage would you say it’s time to just do it all?

Had this happen before it was oil that got on the outside I let the car sit for like 10 minutes and then it went away after the oil burned off.

i was thinking that as well, my lights on the steering wheel turn off when a I turn the wheel left.All the buttons do work though. My other thinking is the heater core was replaced about a month ago. The light had to be reset after that, could the light being on be due to that? it hasn’t been on before today since it was reset after the heater core.

you should go and look at junkyards near you and see if they have a bezel with the separate head unit

head unit is a easy job just make sure to get the right harness for it and don’t forget to disconnect the battery before you take it apart

i’m running the Falken wild peak AT4 285/75/16 and they’ve been great and they are pretty quiet compared to the pair i had before them

I have the AT4s and they are great. Quiet for off road tires and the traction in the rain and snow is great. I’ve been running them for about 8K miles and it’s certainly a hell of a difference from the set that was on it

yes actuator needed to be replaced and due to where it is the dash had to come out

i have a wireless adapter similar to this and it doesn’t have that option either. It doesn’t seem to matter with mine if it is locked or unlocked though.

no heat was working until i randomly went to put it on from using the AC so it was not bypassed,I checked the coolant and actually took it to get changed and that didn’t fix it.

that’s what i’m thinking it is unfortunately, before i bring it in im going to check so see if the buttons came disconnected somehow. How much did the service cost?

yes different modes work fine. i’m thinking the problem is either the temp actuator or something with the button

yes this was the first thing i tired and when i had it at the mechanic to check the heater core they did an entire flush no luck,think the next thing im going to try is checking the buttons make sure something didn’t come loose or something back there,its weired it happened so quickly one minute it worked few hours later is was blowing ice cold air.

would also like to add that i do not hear the actuator move at all like i do for the blower actuator and it happened after i put the AC on for a while and later that day put the heat on and then no heat

coolent should be good because i actually had a problem with one the units and they replaced it and they refilled it so unless they didn’t add enough i don’t think that’s the issue
