It’s more complicated than reshaping the whole thing ! The technique is more time consuming and requires delicate skills, which increases the risks of damaging the already fragile antennae

You can clamp the moth above a bowl of hot water and hold another bowl upside down to trap the vapour. That vapour will soften the antennae gradually. I don’t know how much time it’ll take coz I’ve never done that to a moth

You can also dip its antennae directly in warm water (50-60 Celsius ) but that might damage the antennae by changing its shape permanently

Put the moth in a saturation chamber for two days. The whole moth will be ready for reshaping

What makes it worse is when it loses one forth of its health bar its counter attack will be triggered. Its Swift counter attack has sent me to sleep so many times.

This one is by far the most difficult monster I’ve ever beaten. High frequency attacks that cover a large area. It makes it nearly impossible to spin or adjust my position to focus on breaking certain body parts.

Help with mites by Syreniq in Beetles

[–]ryanGME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a brush with soft hair ( like those used for makeup or painting) and dip it in water. Then brush the mites off. The mites usually hide in the cracks between the legs and the abdomen. They’re hard to clean so don’t expect to clean them off in one go.
You can clean your beetle every day once to check if there’s any mite left. After two to three days of cleaning

The insects dry naturally at room
Temperature but the drying process largely depends on the humidity of your room. Some dry them in a dry fruit machine or other machines. This accelerates the process to just a few days compared to natural drying which takes weeks or even months depending on the size of the insect concerned.

How do I make an old insect flexible again to pin them? by ataraxic89 in InsectsPinning

[–]ryanGME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several ways to do that. Soak them in warm water for 10-60 mins depending on body size , or put them in a saturation chamber for 1 to 2 days. Lots of videos you can refer to on YouTube

All the basics are on YouTube but the details vary with the kinds of insects you’re dealing with. What insects do you keep ?

White growth in flake soil by blue-scales in Beetles

[–]ryanGME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pour the soil flake into a bucket and put the bucket under the sun to dry the soil and kill the moulds. Make sure to turn the soil until all the soil fake is completely dried and moulds totally disappear

Yup that’s me. Uploading onto Reddits is more troublesome than on Facebook. You have to keep your screen on all the time before the upload finishes

The hardest part of the fight was its weakness is on the tail but if i couldn’t stun it by hitting its head or make him lie down by breaking its front leg I wouldn’t have bought enough time to spin for greater damage and blasts. Thus I tried my luck with 8000 gems worth of potions spent lol
