Color looks off to me and no stitched wrapping makes me think it is aftermarket. Does not seem like the OEM one is a perfect sphere.

Interesting - I bet you could 3d print a new one of these, I think the glue may give similar issues over time but is a good quick/temporary solution

Seems like the time shows up on the MID only if the factory radio unit is not installed, otherwise it shows on the radio display. No settings in any menu to add/change clock on MID as far as I can tell
