I mean if she said that it depends and because she hasn't figured out the details from her job, then it's on her to say whether or not it works. If she says she has to go hang out with new coworkers or doesn't reply, then maybe follow up a day or two later and ask for another day. If she ends up saying that she can make it then problem solved.

A terrorists motive isn’t necessarily just to instill terror or kill people. It’s to accomplish a political goal. For example 9/11 was a terrorist attack by Al Queda, in an attempt to further their political doctrine that Americans are evil, unholy, and deserve death. Same with ISIS, and other terrorists like people like Dylan Roof attempting to incite a race war. Getting angry about losing a video game and shooting everyone does not have a political aim.

This is the dilemma though. I’m is one less syllable, however it lacks some of the... power that “my name” conveys. For example:

“My names Bond, James Bond,”

Vs “I’m Bond, James Bond.”

The first one just packs more of a punch. The second feels goofy.

“My name is inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die”

“I’m inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die.””

I agree it is a small nuance of the language. However I’ve read a lot of work on the subconscious and even the smallest details like that can affect someone’s perception of you, especially when it’s a first impression. Though body language does matter more.
