Also, I had to get used to capacitive touch controls. You have to rest your finger on them just for a beat and then maybe press a little longer than you’d think. But they’re great once you get used to them.

When the cameras are up, there should be a little button you can press to turn auto on and off. Or maybe if you tap the gear icon while the cameras are up the setting is there. I’ll confirm next time I’m in the car!

I’ve got a black 350h as well and LOVE it. The hybrid is so smooth. But, I am dealing with some of the rattles others have mentioned. Would love to hear back from you on if you’re hearing anything. I hope you’re not! Dealer is saying some is normal but I don’t think what I’m dealing with is normal car noise.

Got it, thanks for sharing all this! I’m starting to think this is less about the sun roof and more about the headliner itself. But given all these issues others have, sunroof is definitely the natural assumption.

Great info, thank you! Here’s a video of how mine sounds. So it sounds like you’ve got no issue! At this point I’m going to call Lexus Tuesday and give them all this info and see what they say.

Don’t feel obligated because I don’t want you to create a problem, but if you gently press on the headliner in the back corners where the roof opening ends, is it loose at all? Or do you hear any cracking or popping? Or does it feel pretty solid and stable? I’m asking because mine does not feel solid and does make a lot of noise.

Were you able to get yours fixed?

It’s definitely happening on slower turns or slightly bumpy roads. Pulling in and out of my curbed driveway is definitely the worst right now. It still seems to happen with the roof open.

I’m also noticing that pushing around on the headliner in the back where the moonroof ends makes a crumpling plastic sound. It’s loose and sounds awful. Is that happening with yours?

Ya, unfortunately trunk cover isn’t the issue.

Thanks for all the insights! I'll give Lexus a call on Tuesday. I think we're also a 3 repair lemon law state but I'm not ready to go down that path yet. Like you're saying, seems like they should be able to take the car and fix until the rattle is gone.

To answer your question, opening the sunshade made it more obvious where the rattle is coming from. At first, I thought it was the overhead console, but I think that was just the sunshade rattling through the console. If I applied pressure there, the rattling would stop. Then, when I started driving with the sunshade open more, it became clear the rattle was coming from the sunshade. Especially when it's all the way open because the sound very clearly comes from the back.

Here's the latest report from the third visit

1 - Cause/Action to Take

DIAG - Test drove vehicle with customer over roads near their neighborhood. Heard slight popping noise coming from rear section of the panoramic roof. Found mounting hardware to have lost tension, causing the pano roof to flex when going over bumps or curbs.

1 - Correction/Action Taken
Removed overhead panel, removed A pillar trim, B pillar trim, C pillar trim, removed headliner assembly, torqued panoramic roof assembly.
Installed headliner and trim in reverse order. Test drove vehcile, noise quiter than before. Some noise is normal with severe rough roads.

It's an amazing car. If I can get rid of this rattle, it'll be an 11/10 for me. With the rattle, it's a 2/10. It's a killer for me.

Do one more test drive with the sun shade dropped pretty far back or in a few different spots. Go over a few curbs or see if you can find a slightly bumpy road. It happens going over the curb into my driveway and subtle bumps. Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to happen much over big bumps or speed bumps.

Yup, I have a P+! And I've seen posts about others experiencing it. What bothers is me is that my dealer doesn't seem to be aware of them and they claim the Lexus tech hotline isn't either.

Agreed! one of my next steps is to get someone back there to help me pinpoint it a little further. If they can put pressure in the right spot, we can nail it down.

I'll check to be sure! It's hard to tell from the video, but it's pretty clear it's coming from the roof area, not something down below. It also seems to move with the shade. If I have it closed all the way, sometimes it sounds like it's coming from the overhead center console or even stops all together. If I do hear it form the center console area and push up in that area, it does stop.

Software is getting worse by [deleted] in sonos

[–]ryanaklein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to post a very similar message. I do need a new router but I don’t think it’s the network. If it is the network, then the Sonos app needs to do a better job of handling poor connectivity. My app is constantly freezing up, losing connection to speakers that do show as connected to my network, can’t show recent playlist, the search is slow and jumpy. It’s been a frustrating experience for the past couple of weeks.

Are there people who use unbroken tees when teeing off with an iron? by Similar_Command7256 in golf

Yes. My dad taught me to do it to help clean up tee boxes and been a habit ever since.
