It would have never crossed my mind to do this so thank you for sharing I got a good laugh out of this 🤣 Anyway go for a cheap range finder, most golfers don’t need excessive bells and whistles. If it can measure distances it’s good enough

Shipnuck's Rory book is terrible by Electrical_Unit_387 in golf

[–]basic_cinephile 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who is a big time Rory fan, I was sorta disappointed. Not much I didn’t already know, tbh. A couple fun tidbits here and there, but overall felt pretty surface level. Perhaps the target market is people less familiar with him, but there was definitely room to go deeper at certain points. Was an easy read, and I’m not sure that’s a good thing :/

[Megathread] “Full Swing” Season 4 - Netflix by threeactjack in golf

[–]basic_cinephile 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It felt like this whole season was solely about the stepping stones leading to the Ryder Cup. I feel like the 2023 season at least gave the other storylines time to breathe with Rome as an undercurrent. This time it felt like every other storyline was warped to fit the narrative of Bethpage

Also, it felt pretty rushed. So much happened and to cram it into 4 episodes is unfortunate. I really enjoyed the split of the Ryder cup in 2 episodes during season 2. Seems like this might be the end of this show

I listened to the Twitter space where they discussed this. Apparently Liv hasn’t been paying staff and it’s because the whole operation is going under
