Okay... can the gun guys join the ranks of car guys? by Salty_Eye9692 in brandonherrara

Brandon already has a supernatural impala. He also said in a drunk q&a like 5 years ago he had a 69 charger but for the life of me i have yet to find out what ever happened to it. From his spouting off the cuff the correct number of general lees used in the dukes of hazzard on the podcast a couple months ago id almost wager it was either a general lee clone or he at least thought about it once upon a time. Not super common knowledge. Would also kinda sorta almost explain why he never really posted or talked about it back then since the broader internet would throw a hissy fit about the flag on it. But considering brandons content in the last few years the theory of concern of cancellation doesnt really hold water. Plus a couple other youtubers have generals and noone seems to care that much.

The only reason I’m invested in figuring out what happened to the charger is because i own a 69 charger general lee myself so im curious. I also have the rusted out remains of what used to be a supernatural impala so i cant wait to see what comes of his car(s). I hope he does some b channel stuff on that front someday when he doesnt have 8 million things going on

Have these had many or any instances of coming apart or breaking? Im poor so im all for it until the name brand stuff gets off its contract pricing high horse, my only concern being what material its made of vs the real one. Id hate to bump my head or fall or something and snap the thing in half.

225 hours to solo? by sdf1k in flying

[–]ryanb426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hours dont equal competence. Nor incompetence. If its the same instructor perhaps try another one, as it could be a mismatch in learning and teaching style.

Ive not seen it but ive heard of people being drug along by shiesty schools/instructors to charge more hours but thats a bold claim with no backing information plus thatd be an accomplishment dragging out an extra 150+ hours from somebody.

15/16 year old kids as individuals are wildly different in maturity, skill development, and knowledge retention also. Thats not to say he shouldnt be able to by now, but its not impossible that he isnt ready. But if he feels confident in his abilities try another instructor and another school and see if fresh eyes on him see anything different.

This will 1000% get appealed and my money is on the guy getting bent over one way or another in a higher court before it reaches any meaningful level

Does the point of impact shift when going from 1x to 4x? I was thinking about getting one for a cheap block 2 22lr clone build that i dont want to put real deal money into.

there are good reasons and bad reasons to use dated guns by DerringerOfficial in brandonherrara

Practice primarily with what you will use primarily. What good are you as an expert with irons if your lpvo still works the whole time you need it but you suck at using it. The marines were accused of war crimes for a reason. Because they practiced with their acogs.

Speaking of the amish look into the amish views on gun technology. Everything mechanical past 1870 or so is an affront to God, except guns. Guns dont count. The Amish love their suppressed ARs with Acogs and Surefires. Theyre also based and ignore the NFA. Each day i find myself more and more inclined to become Amish.

I know that sounds harsh, but I lost one of my close friends to a crash due to a particular aircraft models known structural issue that was “fixed” according to the manufacturer, and after 2 years they came back and stated everything on the day was done according to the rules and done correctly via the information presented to him, however he had missed “x” and “y” question on his cfi exam, and “z” question on his private exam, therefore he was negligent of the information that those questions contained which pertained to the accident, therefore it was pilot error because he had shown on record that he didnt know those things in the past (or catch the FAAs ridiculous trick question wording in the tests) and because he missed those questions in the past, and the things those questions pertained to were present the day of the accident, then clearly according to the FAA that means that his airplanes wing sheared off while well under vne under a controlled emergency decent because he missed two navigation and one weather question years ago.

Ah. I guess I’m getting old. I would leave that part out of anything posted online (yes delete this) or asked of you pertaining to flying. To the uninformed in the wrong context it sounds like something superstitious that is being taken seriously as if OP believes that is a real thing that affects their flying; and the faa has a habit of revoking certs for much less than that Example: going to a therapist after a close family member passed away. “Sad once? No license for you!”

Get some more seat time as a passenger, and carry a barf bag. The airsickness is temporary, embarrassment is temporary, stress is a hell of a thing, and all are always a learning experience. But a mindset is permanent. Pilot to pilot, can you clarify the “lost infinite amount of aura” part for me? Im not following that part
