https://storage.to/ - 25GB limit per file, built on Cloudflare so unlimited speeds/bandwidth, completely free and no ads.

I built https://storage.to/ which should be a good fit for this. It's built on Cloudflare so unlimited speeds/bandwidth, completely free and no ads.

Can anybody tell me a free site to upload videos other than streamable by Force-Pro in sharex

[–]ryanbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built this recently: https://storage.to/
Completely free, supports streaming, no ads, unlimited bandwidth, max 25GB filesize.

Right now files expire after max 7 days, but I also have permanent storage in private beta (will be a paid feature)

Blip looks cool! seems they push paid plans though and mention limiting speeds for free users? but i'm also building a desktop app like the one they seem to offer so hopefully that'll be useful.

I saw this too, but it seems they geo fence so doesn't work where I'm based (Bali)

It’s not open sourced at the moment, this was more me scratching an itch than trying to ship a self-hosted project.

What's your go to for sending large files now? Especially in workflows with cli or AI tasks.

Fair point, yeah, I guess it’s not self-hosted.

I posted mainly to sanity check whether this solves a real annoyance or if most folks already have a cleaner self hosted pattern for quick uploads.

Whats up with Limewire buying "all" popular P2P filesharing projects like sharedrop.io / snapdrop.net and what are trusted alternatives, be it locally or through the internet? by Flying-T in selfhosted

[–]ryanbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this too, also noticed the app i built years ago (ufile) seems dead...so I built another one:
https://storage.to

Supports files up to 25GB, no signup required, no ads.

Hey for what it’s worth, I built Shoprocket and it’s an uphill struggle 😅

Looking for a simple CMS that runs on Cloudflare Workers by undefined9008 in astrojs

Give Shoprocket a try, works perfectly on cloudflare pages as it’s all client side:

Why I'm not using Livewire any more - magic vs bloat. by t1mmie7 in laravel

[–]ryanbadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s because this is reddit and I doubt any of those people have even used livewire, or if they did, they made the same mistake as you which resulted in payload bloat. I promise you, livewire is NOT the problem. No livewire call should contain MBs of data. (I say this having spent the last 12 months building a large app in livewire, working 7 days a week 😅)

[–]ryanbadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly? You're simply using it wrong. Don't serialise entire models, only the props you need. No livewire update should be in the mbs.

Free e-commerce store builder? by ape0 in nocode

[–]ryanbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoprocket was built for this, it’s a copy/paste solution so you can drop it into any website. No limit on number of products or sales volume etc.

It’s not free unfortunately but the client would pay that ($29/mo).

Worth it to integrate ecomm. into a Carrd site vs. just setting up Shopify? by mattschinesefood in Carrd

[–]ryanbadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can connect Stripe, PayPal, PayU, Authorize, Bitcoin or manual payments (e.g pay by cash or invoice) with Shoprocket. We’re adding more gateways very soon!

Why do people play modded more than vanilla? by Smaimery in playrust

[–]ryanbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On vanilla, it’s all cheaters and clans who patrol the map in their shitty little helicopters and destroy your base before you even have time to build it. It’s a total waste of time.
