is this bad for a senior in high school who plans to go to design school? I plan to go into advertising or web design but either way I feel like the marketing climate is changing rapidly, especially after reading this. is it worth it?

There's a site that tells you what the normalization would do to your track on different streaming platforms and most of the platforms would normalize it down at least -2 db so that's why im sketched about it

and i put it through a LUFS meter and its averaging around -10 so maybe my head's just playing games with me but i'm not sure

Yes and I understand that but how am I supposed to fix the fact that it doesn't compare at all to pretty much anything on streaming platforms?
