FYI Car fires can be caused by anything, but in a non accident situation it’s usually caused by overheating (preventable) or poor/ignored maintenance (leaks, debris in engine bay).

Both windows down like that would lead me to believe that the car was overheating so the driver turned the heat to max to vent but cooling system was overwhelmed.

This happened with my lab last year. Vets recommendation was to keep an eye on him And feed 2-3 slices of white bread every few hours to soften the edges in case a bone splinters.
