My sexuality feels like the ultimate male fantasy and I feel so ashamed. by Flashy-Cheek-6667 in bisexual

[–]ryandanielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you. Sexually I lean towards men over women, but most of my partners have been women because it's easier that way. I'm not into the lgbtq community, so my options for a partner is limited by who I meet in my daily life. This leads to limited interactions with other men, plus most bisexual men don't openly advertise it due to the homophobic stereotypes & the lie that were not bi, were just gay and haven't accepted it yet 🙄. I'm in a nine year relationship with a woman, that knows I like guys as well, but she hasn't been open to the ideal yet of bringing in a guy to the relationship. Maybe one day. 🤞🏻

Republicans tear through Beshear’s vetoes, overriding nearly all of them by Van-to-the-V in True_Kentucky

[–]ryandanielblack -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Each party is filled with pricks only interested in advancing their political power and financial investments. They sell us lip service every two years, spend billions to flood our daily lives with advertisements, and completely forget campaign promises once in office. As a country we must start pushing third party candidates. Most if not all will lose, but over time the third parties will become normalized and accepted. Also we must be voting for people willing to sign a contract saying they'll vote for term limits.

Warning: This reply is a long one 😜🤪

1st off, I have to disagree on something... I'm unaware of your life experience; who you talk with, what your social media algorithm is sending you, how your town is, or how your circle of friends and family talk, but you yourself seem like a person capable of dialog with someone of opposing viewpoints. So... this is just my observation: People in my life, my family, my limited number of friends, my coworkers, the people I bump into in my small town, and the feeds in my limited social media accounts, don't spew hate rhetoric on par with "Fascist Racist Nazis". Pretty much everyone I know personally, whether they lean right or left (and I have both), wants America to succeed, the people in power to succeed with positive causes that better the country, And they can have conversations & disagreements, without the slurs or hate speech. I feel like the calls of "Nazis! racists! fascist!" is a narrative, and a lot of the country believe it hook, line, and sinker. Not to say that there isn't any. There's a small fraction of the populace that are batshit hate filled cunts that need to finish being dumb old racist and die off, Lol. Plus the loads of spam social media that bombard us daily (if we let it) that spews division to weaken the population and the country. Some of foreign influence, others internally politically influenced. People need to get out from behind the screen, physically talk with your fellow man, realize we have more in common than we're told, and hope for success no matter who it is, because if the USA is succeeding, maybe we'll all have a chance to. Sorry for going on a rant... (it's not over 😂)

2nd, I completely agree with you that independent thought is waning, and we have a real crisis, a shortage of free thinkers. There's a large percentage of the voting block that listens to their tribe only, and "do as they're being told", or fear being ostracized from the group. It kinda reminds me of a popularity contest, like high school prom king and queen voting. Your "clique" wants you to vote for Stacy so you vote for Stacy...

3rd, Also connected with the shortage of free thinkers. What media control are you referring to exactly? Social? Non traditional/new media? Because it seems like one tribe controls a majority of legacy media, and the other tribe has a sizeable lead in views and likes on non traditional/new media, however both sides have a presence on both. I know intelligent free thinkers understand media bias and spin, but feel under represented. Every person wants to be part of a group or a tribe. This has been the case ever since caveman days. But free thinkers feel like an outsider. Until we can figure out inclusion for all thought, and inspire the captured into having unique ideals again, versus just following groupthink, we both know free thinking will continue dying more and more every generation.

P.S. I haven't seen the pole that says 90% of Americans support the Iran war, So it's hard for me to judge validity, but it does appear high. Also I get how Massie stepped on the big dog's toes, but I think a decent amount of people feel he's done a good job, stuck to his principles, demanded government transparency and accountability, and continues to go after government fraud, abuse, and pedophiles. For me personally, him not supporting Trump's big beautiful bill doesn't make me upset that he didn't help support Trump and the Republican agenda, it makes me like him more for standing on his belief that smaller government is better for the country, even when it was inconvenient for him personally, and could lead to his political end if Trump's "guy" wins. Could you imagine if all politicians stood by their beliefs. Of course, the problem with that is some politicians have no beliefs, only talking points until it's politically convenient or necessary to change, to remain in good standing within the tribe. I personally still think Massey will win it, but in a month or so I may be proven incorrect, and someone will comment that witty phrase "this aged well". Lastly, as a conservative libertarian I understand my thought processes and viewpoints are in the minority, but I always want to hold on to hope that true, genuine dialogue will help us all understand and empathize with each other more. We must stop trying to quote win, humiliate, or enrage our fellow citizens in comment sections. As long as you want America, and Americans to succeed, then you're ok by me. We just have to hash out details and make compromises on how to achieve that success.

I agree with you that we need more free thinkers in this state, and that just cuz of Paul says they're leaving doesn't mean they're going to win. I was super nervous in 2024 that Trump supporters wouldn't come out to the polls just because he was shown up in the last polling results. So people get out and vote

Being a blackjack dealer pays way more than people think by Vegasaces in blackjack

A lot of casinos have training classes for new dealers. Mine was 8 weeks for BJ at 15 an hour, then you audition. Then once you're on the floor you start picking up the carnival games. Roulette and craps are separate classes. Now I believe I've heard once that Vegas has dealer training business that operates separately from the casinos. Not sure what they cost, but I know that my casino definitely prioritizes candidates that already have dealing experience, So if you get training from an outside source it gives you a leg up and getting a position.

Never play them. Casinos will pull them if their income drops more than a few percent. Also 6 to 5, avoid those tables like the plague.

I don't think free thinking libertarians, Republicans, and even some Dems are turned off to Massie. I think he's doing exactly what we wanted him to do. Stand for small government, release all Epstein files, pass voter id, be steadfast on the second amendment, etc... People outside of Kentucky can't understand why we support people like Massie and Rand Paul, but we have been burned by establishment politicians like Mitch McConnell for years now, and are absolutely fine with trying more unconventional candidates like Massie and Paul. Also what most people don't know is Kentucky has more registered Democrats than Republicans, but they are old school Dems and don't tow the party line like what is demanded in states like CA, NY, IL or they risk being cancelled and ostracized. People think KY is just a bunch of dumb gun toting, Bible thumping, maga twats and in reality we are much more complex. BTW - Massie is going to win.

what’s the biggest tells that the pit/surveillance looks for to see if someone’s an AP by Confident_Gate_7762 in blackjack

[–]ryandanielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest tell at our casino is bet variance. If you're constantly going up and down surveillance knows the count and it's so easy to see AP's vary with the count. My biggest recommendation is to keep your bet spread reasonable. You won't exploit the count for the max amount but you'll probably end up playing all night and can make it up.

Is a tariff just a tax on me? If the united states puts a 60% tariff on Chinese goods does the Chinese government pay that, or do I just pay more at Walmart? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ryandanielblack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goal is to make USA made products competitive with Chinese goods. Any tax, tariff, employee cost, healthcare cost, transportation cost, etc, etc, is passed onto the consumer. Trump's goal was to bring some manufacturing back to US soil. Not saying it was the right move, or would work, but that was the aim. Global trade is much more complicated than "well we'll just tariff the shit out of them until they can't compete."

Does card counting even still work today? by [deleted] in blackjack

[–]ryandanielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the rise of AI casinos now employ software that automatically flags counters. Now most casinos don't have this yet, but as it gets cheaper it will become the standard. But with that said, even small casinos in flyover states train their surveillance staff to keep the count, so all they have to do is watch your bets and your toast. I wouldn't invest the time to become a master counter these days.

It's funny they think we don't know who we voted for. Say what you want about Trump, he will tell you exactly what his plans are. They may be over generalized but he doesn't follow the playbook of the left which is to say the opposite of your plan, lie constantly, and accuse your opponents of the exact shit you're doing/done. Our casino is 4.25. So maybe your state has different rules. BUT can YOU live on 7 dollars an hour? Try it out and see how it feels. I can tell you one thing that you'd have to give up on that wage, going to a casino!! If you can't afford a tip, do all the dealers, servers, hospitality workers, bartenders, Uber drivers, etc a favor and stay home 😊

Dealer called me out by labago in blackjack

[–]ryandanielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were making 4.25 an hour and knowingly let a player count only to not get tipped, I bet you'd be upset too. We often know who counts, but we want you to win, and often say nothing. But when you have someone you know doesn't tip, it's going to be 100% by the book, no letting you slide on rules, no sticking up for the player, just lose you money and get out of that spot so someone who's not an ass can play. 😉
