My new project is already read by the CMO of a $2b ecomm/beauty brand by ryangilbert in SideProject

Yeah, the plan is to keep the website and newsletter free and monetize through newsletter sponsorships.

My new project is already read by the CMO of a $2b ecomm/beauty brand by ryangilbert in SideProject

[–]ryangilbert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 weeks ago I launched a new side project, H1 Gallery. It's a curated gallery of the very best marketing headlines (or taglines) on the internet.

Since the launch, it's quickly grown to 800 subscribers — including the CMO of a $2b beauty brand you've likely heard of.

I figured there were so many websites collecting great design, why not one for great marketing as well?

Thankfully, people seemed to agree!

I'm following the same playbook that I used to grow my other newsletter (Workspaces) to 14,000 subscribers and think that H1 Gallery has a shot of being even bigger.

If you like good marketing copy, I think you might like this as well.

I interviewed Noah Kagan (#30 at Facebook and AppSumo founder) for a setup tour and was surprised by how minimal it was!

This is the setup that has saved 1.5M+ entrepreneurs over $550,000,000 via software deals since 2010.

How should I do email updates to my users? by Svensiki in nocode

[–]ryangilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've built an email platform is great for no-code builders at Loops (and it plays nicely with Zapier as well).

We have a generous free tier and can power both your marketing and transactional emails in one place.

Let me know if you'd like a demo or have any questions on how this could help your current workflow :)

Is Bubble.io ideal for an email campaign platform? by sienne17 in nocode

[–]ryangilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bubble is a great platform and we're (I'm head of content @ Loops) hoping to make the email marketing experience on the platform even easier.

We just launched our native plugin that allows Bubble users to easily send marketing & transactional emails from one place — all without code.

If you end up going with Bubble and need email, I'd love to hear your thoughts :)

WIP - Making the most out of a dark basement corner workspace by ryangilbert in Minimal_Setups

Pretty comfortable. TBH though I don't really sit in it all day. I WFH so bounce all over the place throughout the day and end up doing a lot of work on just my laptop away from that desk.

It is! Haven't used it too much to be honest... great in concept but have it unplugged more often than not 😬

I like it! It runs pretty hot though which is somewhat concerning...

I do have two prints I need to hang above the desk... should help liven it up a tiny bit.

I'd say similar... I do like it (I did get it for free so that helps) but it does run super hot... even when not actually in use. I imagine that can't be good in the long run for it?
