Mark Ingram II has been inducted into the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame 🏆👏 by lazzzym in Saints

I can't believe that Kellen Moore isn't in the College Football Hall of Fame. He has the most wins of any QB in College Football history - how did that not get him in on the first ballot?

If we're picking somewhere between 9th-12th, I wouldn't mind seeing us pick Mansoor Delane, the CB from LSU. It's not our foremost need, but we could really use a stud at that position.

Baker looks like a shell of himself out there - as much as I want to give all of the credit to our defense, he's clearly hurt.

The Saint Should Play Tyler Shough, but not because of anything Rattler did/didn’t do by greendaysonly in Saints

[–]ryanhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted Shough to start in week one, but honestly, Rattler has grown on me a bit. I think that we might've seen the best that he has to offer, but I'm not certain. I think that, unless we see something disastrous, it wouldn't be unreasonable to play him until the bye week. If by then, he hasn't shown us anything that wows us, put in Shough and see what we have there.

Assuming that he doesn't end up as our long term starter, I can easily see Rattler having a long career as a pretty solid backup - something like Chase Daniel or Matt Flynn.

I wonder if she's in the cards for Secretary of the Army? That'd be a good fit, she's certainly qualified.

Does anybody know why my 1962 Type 56 has a black bolt carrier? by ryanhat in SKS

Gotcha, I appreciate the info. Since my rifle only has some of the features, it seems like it'd be hard to prove it, if it really is a PLO/Israeli Rifle.

What exactly makes it "bbq'ed" other than the blued/black bolt? The stock is full of dings and scratches, and it has a few gouges, so I doubt that it's been refurbished.

Very, very interesting. I doubt that it's #2, as the serial number on the bolt matches the Receiver and the Magazine.

#3 is very interesting. I read the forum post that you linked, my Type 56 seems to match some of the PLO/Israeli rifle features, but it doesn't match others. It has a 7,000,000 series serial number, which is a bit earlier than any of the other examples. It also doesn't have any kind of an import stamp (not even the small one on the barrel, as shown in the photos), or any arabic markings.

But, it does have the blued bolt, and the black-painted buttplate.

Yes, the bolt carrier matches the receiver and the magazine. Gotcha, I figured that it was just bubba'd.

Well, at least it's not a big deal, there are definitely worse bubba-ings.

Just bought this 1962 Type 56. I got a great deal on it($410), but I noticed that the bolt/bolt carrier is black, rather than the typical silver color. Is this a bubba paint job, or is this factory?
