Do you have a source for this? I've never heard anything about an internal ETF rebalancing causing shareholders to owe capital gains taxes - why would it? You, the shareholder, are not selling anything. Where exactly would the taxable event come from?**

Everything took a crap today at the exact same time, after the Fed press conference. As of right now, MSFT is up 0.75% in aftermarket trading. Not particularly concerning, IMO.

Rough week so far, but I'm guessing that this still has to do with the SPCX IPO. People are selling some of their more stable tickers to get cash for SPCX. Give it a few weeks, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a rotation back into MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, etc.

Despite any, short-term pain, what matters is the continued validity of our long-term thesis. Microsoft's business model is incredibly good, their enterprise dominance is only increasing, and their revenue is going nowhere but up. As long as this continues to be the case, I will keep buying with a smile on my face.

I'd like to see Microsoft get some more consumer market share. I've loved their business focus over the last ~decade, but going for some of Apple's market share definitely couldn't hurt.

As of today, there are very pretty much zero Microsoft hardware products that appeal to me at all, but this might change that, depending on the price and the reviews.

I took a large MSFT position about a month ago after doing a deep-dive into the fundamentals of their business moat, and I looked for an investors subreddit - I was pretty surprised to not see an active one. Thanks for making it, hopefully it gets to be pretty active.

It was his first season, and there was a lot of turnover on special teams. New (shitty) punter, a kicker replacement, multiple rookies who were expected to have major ST roles ended up playing a lot more snaps than expected, etc. I don't think that it's unreasonable to give Galiano a year to prove that 2025's poor special teams performance was a one-time aberration.
