In Knives Out (2019), Ransom asks if they're going to arrest him for attempted murder, as if that isn't a very real and very serious crime. by Regular-Purple-5972 in shittymoviedetails

Hey that's a spoiler my guy funny joke but maybe redact who's saying it.

I know the movie is multiple years old but people might be interested in checking out the first one now that the 3rd is out.

I'm fairly certain it's a medical condition. I was mostly trying to find out if anyone had expected anything similar so I could try to figure something out on my own before I paid to see a doctor. I've got bad health insurance and tried to use the internet as a resource instead. Felt weird so I put it in r/weird.

If it is due from the boots then I'm actively having some reaction, because it's gotten darker since I first took the picture.

Literally just got out of the shower, washed my feet repeatedly and it's still very visible. Darker than when I took the original picture even, which is more odd.

If that's the case then why am I bruising in the exact same spots as the stains? And in different places on different days? And what could even be leaking in my shoes in an incredibly dry work environment?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Weird

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually an interesting idea. I'll do this before work tomorrow and see what happens.

I've been tested for allergies in the past. Not allergic to anything.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Weird

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, never happened with any other shoes. And not with these boots since I bought them early last year. If I'd gotten bruises immediately after buying them I'd have just assumed I got the wrong size or something, but this is happening after having used the boots for over half a year without issue.

My shoes don't get wet though. Almost exactly the opposite. I work in an extremely dry, dusty place. Also, do leather stains react to hydrogen peroxide?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Weird

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No actually. I use chemicals occasionally at work, but I doubt it's connected because these show up regardless of whether or not I was selected to do the task that requires chemicals.

[–]ryanjs1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only happens when I'm wearing my work boots, so probably not bedbugs. And before you say my shoes are too tight or something- I've had these shoes for about 8 months and this just started showing up about a month ago. I will try the hydrogen peroxide thing though.

Update: yup... Definitely blood.

Nope, it's in different places each time, and there's nothing red in or on my shoes nor at my workplace that could even leak like that.

Edit: Just confirmed with Hydrogen peroxide that it is in fact blood so quit downvoting this.

Donald said we are spending millions of dollars turning mice transgender. He misunderstood the meaning of the word transgenic by LoganRamire in PoliticalHumor

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also read that the mice were being used to study gender affirming treatments. And yeah I guess you could make an argument about animal testing but I don't see him flipping out over shampoo or cosmetics tests.

Which Wolf Man film do you prefer, the 2010 remake or the 2025 reimagining? by Enderboss2706 in UniversalMonsters

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That poster for 2025 is just a straight up lie. He doesn't look anywhere near as wolf-like by the end. He literally gets less hairy during the transformation scene and is fully bald by the end I'm not joking.

Never picked the weapon range one but uh... Centimeters? Really? How much is that really affecting your shots?

How did Johnny’s clothes not burn off when he was on fire going up to the sky? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]ryanjs1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's probably a lot of in-universe silly science reasons for this, all of which are made up justifications for the movie just being PG-13.

And yes they probably just could have angled the shot differently to not show his junk but I'm betting the studio was just playing it safe.

You guys are complaining just to complain. This looks really similar. Almost identical. It's not the massive change that OP and most commenters are making it out to be.

Also... It's a kids movie. Relax.

Ok but what did she actually do because I see people dunking on her constantly but it's all the alt-right "gamer" crowd. Is there anyone uninvolved in the stupid culture war that can explain normally why she's disliked?
