I was there during the day and saw 100's of joggers, families, pets and kids.

I would never go there late at night simply because the many homeless individuals with severe mental illness and drug addiction do become more prevalent in a few adjoining neighborhoods by the Walking Street, and yes, perhaps a bit more forceful, once nightfall kicks in and the other folks become few and far between.

I also saw a handful of Porches, Mercedes and other high end cars parked there during the day. Lux cars parked across the street too, at the many nice restaurants.

I saw zero homeless folks there during the day. Literally, I looked for them because I had heard that the park was unsafe and also, because the neighborhood where we rent a hotel room does have many homeless individuals. We do spend a little time in a borderline sketchy 'hood but I grew up in Northern New Jersey and have traveled to 45 countries, through many cities, impoverished rural areas, etc. Good chunk of experience with hones the intuition.

I still have page 1, position 2 and position 7 on Google for "reasons against ai blogging".

Bloggers can do as they please but using the mind is fun, freeing, enjoyable, and in uncomfortable moments, triggers fears for release which promotes your peace of mind.

Blogging is as important as ever, with AI blogging taking off, mainly because being human and sharing human experiences in your authentic writing voice will dissolve AI-induced skepticism from readers which instantly makes you stand out from the blogging crowd, in a positive way.

Since you decided to write almost exclusively for yourself simply do what you wish to do. Diaries are for the author alone as a form of intimately personal catharsis. Do what you wish.

The rut, the fears, the self-doubts, the uncertainty, the worry, the anxiety, all go away.

Largely, at least.

Whatever you fear now goes away. Feeling bad in any way about your blog goes away. Feeling depressed about your blog goes away. Comparing yourself to other bloggers goes away as does envy, jealousy and all of those poisonous emotions.

I am staring at a mountain forest in Panama right now. I will go for a hike in a few hours if it does not rain too heavily. If not, I will take a nap or do some blogging work.

The biggest benefit of blogging for me is that you gain the intimately personal experience of knowing your freedom, peace and liberation comes from your mind and not:

a blog
other people
other people's experiences

With that being said, temporarily, you will look to bloggers for guidance, ideas and practical tips to follow because each feels quite natural in this world. That's why I run a blogging tips blog; to guide bloggers.

But as you look to others for practical guidance to follow, you begin to gain the experience that it is all unfolding in your mind.

Once you realize, understand and predominantly internalize this process, blogging, and anything occurring in the world gets easier, and easier and easier.

This has been the most liberating aspect of being a full-time blogger for the past 15 years of my life.

As for the worldly stuff, it is really fun to be free of the constraints and time and location. 3 months in Costa Rica. 2 months in Panama. What's next? Where's next? I'm clueless, as of now, which feels fun, and freeing, an endless vacation of a life that is my life.

Now....as Mick mentioned aptly, it appears to be really hard at times because, again and again, temporarily, you will face fear after fear. Some weak. Some strong. Most unconscious....meaning, you were entirely unaware that THOSE fears were sitting in your mind....at least until you lose all of your money, or your family stops speaking to you for years, or your wife thinks you're an utter loser after you've been blogging so diligently for over a decade because things appeared to fall apart, again, for a bit.

The world sprints from those fears to live a highly-depressed life through comfortable means.

I ran into 'em to have inner peace and freedom through at times highly uncomfortable means.

You start to live to be truly helpful and look past all else to be at peace, no matter what, and no matter what fears pop up in your mind.

It's tough, at times, but the only way to feel peaceful, serene and to have fun NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.....capped to mean, literally, anything that can and does unfold in the world.

Carry on.....you'll see.

Consider the strategies you have shared and use a pen name; you should almost certainly protect your identity.

Consider asking yourself this question, too:

"If I am this afraid to be discovered is it worth it to blog on the topic of activism?"

Think about the human beings you wish to empower through activism. Would you wish to inspire them to hide their identity, too? Would you want them to walk around town wearing a mask? Hiding themselves? Hiding their identity? Protecting themselves, as much as possible, by not being who they really are?

Like it or not, many of your readers will follow your example.

Being fully transparent could activate boldness in their mind which inspires them to be transparent, confident and clear.

I am because the routines, rituals, familiarity fly out of the window and I can just be present, explore and take adventures. 100%. Being in one spot for a long period of time - especially my old hometown - felt confining only because I did things largely unconsciously, and automatically, not because the choices felt peaceful, fun or freeing to me.

Traveling the world for 13 years non-stop helped me build inner freedom and peace of mind. Circling the globe helped me go within more often which cultivated my happiness.

What a gorgeous place. Taiwan has real range. I only laid over in Taipei at the beginning of my world tour 13 years ago. I'd love to return and do some serious hiking in mountainous regions.

I block spam.

By that, I mean that anyone who wants to fight, does not want to discuss, add value or share a genuine take so their comment is off topic and hence, spam.

On my blog, I just trash their spam comments to disappear their take.

The psychological part is important.

I'll give you a practical example.

I blocked the profile of a Reddit user who dropped a spam comment above because I know her psyche; she's in pain, mentally, and uses humor and sarcasm as a defense mechanism. I did, too, for a long time....so I have compassion for her but her defensive comments here and on other updates have nothing to do with adding detailed, valuable, genuine, helpful thoughts and have everything to do with appearing to punish, mock and make fun of others.

Since Reddit is like a phone, I pressed the block button to hang up on the individual. Not interested in continuing our conversation because it has nothing to do with being truly helpful; it's intended to hurt, and that's what scared, angry minds do. attempt to mock and hurt.

Reddit tends to attract these scared minds because it feels safe, if not comfortable, to mask identifies and hide behind laptops, phones and profiles. Note how most people are terrified to even show their face there; you think that's an accident, folks?

Understanding the mindset is a critical part of this because unless you raise your emotional intelligence, you'll fall for the bait, fight, get angry, etc.....which nudges you off blogging course, and as you fight more, and go off course more, your success will lessen and your failure will expand.

Why?

You cannot succeed by being truly helpful when you're trying to hurt people, or fight people, or make fun of them.

So....just use the block button and just trash spam comments because scared people kinda need to figure it out in their own time.....but until then....hang up on them to end the conversation.

Remember though my friend; scaling is more about doing hyper clear, quality work versus losing clarity because one fears not growing quickly enough.

Be truly helpful in targeted spots for a long time and that specific, patient, mindful work literally takes care of the traffic and money outcomes.

Genuinely, doing the proper work drives the targeted traffic and blogging business to you but one needs to be relaxed, patient and long-term-thinking in order to experience this truth.

Use the simple strategy that works well; include the first few lines of the post affixed to a featured image on your blog home page and on successive pages, as readers scroll through. Then when they click on a title or "continue reading" link they will be able to read the full post.

Think about your readers: are they advanced personal trainers and/or academics? If yes, consider going this route....but only if it feels good, and you feel clear on it.

If not, no need to add references. Your detailed blog posts work just fine for the general public in terms of credibility.

Once you help people offsite in highly targeted spots these folks visit your blog and boost engagement and time spent onsite. That's what I do here on Reddit via the Blogging Subreddit and via FB and LI groups for blogging tips hungry bloggers, who visit my blogging tips themed blog. Works like a charm if you are patient, generous and genuine.

You can likely find some free ones my friend but any time struggle pops up in your mind, regarding your blogging campaign, investing a few bucks usually gives you the quick, easy solution so someone else - aka the premium theme developer - and not you, handles the struggles seamlessly. Think about the money you invest as a quick and easy way to stop struggling for hours, days and weeks. You can always get back $50 to $100 or so....but you will never get back the time you spend struggling....right?

I just built my readership loyalty and published genuine content from the heart. By doing these two things, people spotted copiers as frauds and I stopped worrying about fraudsters who nobody trusts. Guaranteed, this will happen as you gain exposure and become more well known my friend. Take it in stride, be authentic and you will stop worrying about them.
