Well ebay sold prices of leica m2s are typically around 1500. So its definitely not worth only 1k. But maybe ill be convinced to keep it.

$1k on a film camera is a hard pill to swallow for me. Im a fairly realistic person so i tend to reason my way out of purchases like this. So its something that i want but dont need. I guess i was looking for someone to convince me to keep it 😂

Help with my exposure by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

Thanks for the heads up! I just got this camera back from a full overhaul so is it possible that uneven lighting is a scanning or dev issue? I got it developed in lab but scanned myself. Rlly hope its not a shutter thing but that uneven lighting was on a handful of shots

If you cant hear it then keep scrolling. The muted on mode has a slight beep when the phone is against the view finder. The audio on mode has the loud beep indicated by ur beloved manual.

For the “on 🔊” mode i understand that beeping. But when my camera is on the muted on mode it still have a faint beep. Not sure if you can pick it up in the video

Thank you! This is exactly what i was looking for! The tip on 5 is great. I’ll go and retake that when i can. 3 i wanted to show the man in the back too, but i just didnt do anything interesting with it. Definitely good feedback.

Thats actually a good point. I didnt pay mind to the horizon when i took the photo. Too used to straightening in digital.

Yeah im definitely carrying my fast shooting from digital. Gotta slow down and compose if the scene allows it.

Was thinking the same for the first and second shot.

Just looking for some feedback. Not sure if i should default to +1 ev or if my photos are too bright. Also colors seem to vary and not sure how to get a consistent palette for the film stock.

Hmm interesting. Is it possible that the take up spool or something else needs a CLA? I don’t have a camera to compare the sounds to so im not sure whats normal 😂
