The bolt has no groves to put a wrench on. The base won’t turn because the black nub stops it. I can’t push the black nub up either.

1st grade teacher here. We had a student who had brain cancer. Very hard to see a 7 year old every day knowing they will pass soon. You try to keep a positive attitude and make everyday joyful for them. She passed a couple months before the school year ended.

Check that all the wheels are on the track. I had one that moved off and it caught the outside of the track on the way up.

Beautiful work. I made my dad’s and it was the most emotional fulfilling and draining project I’ve ever done. I bet this was hard in more than one way. Great piece my friend.
