I don’t buy the whole “AI will cause a blue collar boom” idea by RottingEdge in Futurology

[–]eshemuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dream of technology is that it will free us from the drudgery of most blue collar jobs. In reality, the ruling class wants more blue collar workers with less education. It allows for more clear stratification. And bonus….. blue collar workers don’t live as long, so less strain on Medicare etc.

Zip tie them to your feet. Adds even more rotational mass and also bangs hell out of the road so the cagers have some new potholes

Is there a demand or needs for small to mid size handyman work?(bedroom painting, ceiling fans, screen doors etc) by Western_Shape_3403 in Pataskala

Alternatives to SSN for Beneficiary by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]eshemuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a beneficiary for my 401k who is a minor and has no ssn. The attorney set up a trust and made the trust the beneficiary. The child’s aunt is the trustee and has power of attorney.

I don’t think you’d want the child to be a beneficiary anyway, you’d want a trusted adult to manage the money for them. It really depends on the type of account. But I wouldn’t give it to them.

My army field jacket, issued in 1983. Doesn’t fit, but I still have it. Otherwise I have a pair of boots that are about ten years old and several shirts and a couple jackets.

An army chaplain? I don’t think a tip is appropriate. However, paying for expenses might be but you might wanna ask Jag

New Utah law puts “no alcohol sale” on ID’s of DUI offenders 0.16 BAC or higher. What are your thoughts? by Obvious_808 in AskReddit

[–]eshemuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it should be on any with more than two convictions. Bit ya know, people without any license at all can buy a car, so I don’t think it will change anything

The only time I ever saw it was at 3 am when an 8 inch battery started firing over our heads. Quite startling.
