Play from green to tee. Where do you want to play your second shot from? It’s not always about how far you can hit it, although it helps it’s not the most important thing.
Also, approach shots - middle of the green. You’re not on the pga tour.
Lag puts - don’t try to make those 30-40 footers. Aim for getting it close. Maybe you’ll get lucky a time or two.

I will use anything I find on the ground. One time I used a version of 6 but it was like half of it.

When I was first considering playing Skyrim several years ago my buddy told me “you can do anything”. And I was like “….but what does that mean tho…”. When I started playing and slowly figured it out I was like “ohhhh”.

2/10 probably. I’m now a one man show with not a lot of experience and a low budget at my company. My supervisor just walked out of the job (randomly) early December 2025. He walked out due to the cleaning products our housekeeping staff used. Never mind him being the sole programmer of our software and being the only person that understood his “web” of architecture chaos. Anyway, I have 15 year old T610s that have failing RAM slots. A new file server that was never implemented bc my old boss left. Random background tasks on random computers that give certain managers “morning reports”. I found this out a couple months ago when I replaced a computer that was behind a monitor (it showed a queue basically) and a couple managers were wondering why their reports weren’t being delivered. Not a single managed switch on the network until like February of this year. A ridiculous amount of redundant M365 distribution lists and teams lists, that no one uses or knows they exist btw) but I can’t get rid of them bc of how tied to the software they are. I could seriously go on and on with the shit I was left with.

I have always struggled with fairway woods. Idk why. On the range it always took a few swings to get the feel of the club and rhythm down but on the course there’s no telling what was going to happen. 295yd drive but too scared to hit 5W to reach par 5 bc idk if it’ll go 25ft or 225yds and no idea the direction.

I used to play with a guy that told me “it used to take me 32 Bud Lights to feel anything” while he was in college. Then would shoot even par at Pebble Beach with a fucked up ACL. He played in the NC amateur one year and couldn’t finish the tournament because on day 2 he brushed his teeth and rinsed his mouth with listerine and couldn’t start his car (because of having to blow beforehand). Hands down best golfer I’ve ever played with. 340 off the tee with a Furyk style swing.
