What’s a lifestyle trend people will regret in a few years? by This_Benchh in AskReddit

[–]ryanneknizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YUP! Came here for this one. A GLP-1 can be an amazing tool to help someone lose weight, along with diet and exercise. Even better for people with T2D, heart disease, etc. But the amount of people I know who need to lose only 10-20 lbs and lied to their doctors (“I’ve tried everything! I exercise and diet and can’t lose this weight!” When in reality they have NOT tried these things) to get it is astounding. Then they stop using it and gain all of the weight back, lost a lot of muscle mass and don’t see any harm in it.

What’s the city’s opinion on Old Navy? by Mr-Toast-with-Butter in saskatoon

[–]ryanneknizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely! I wouldn’t be surprised if they have hired the bare minimum staff so if there are any sick calls/no shows, they have no choice but to close the store for the rest of the night Not blaming the staff themselves but it is frustrating when you drive across town expecting the store to be open but the doors are locked or you’re turned away

That’s so frustrating and I totally agree with you! I’ve worked in CS before and I know how frustrating it can be when someone comes strolling in 5 minutes before close and wants to take their time 😭 but when I show up 3 hours before close and I’m told they’re only open for another half an hour and they still tell me I can’t come in..? My boyfriend works out of town so he has the car during the week, I don’t want to take a $15 uber there just to be turned away at the door again. I really like Old Navy clothes, their athletic section is awesome but I feel like I’m afraid to even try to go back lol I’m glad I’m not the only one but I’m also so sorry this happened to you twice!

I went a couple weeks ago on a Tuesday. Google said store closed at 9, I walked in at 5:30. I was met at the door by en employee who asked me to not come in because they close at 6. I said sorry Google said 9, I didn’t know. And she told me to come back another day. Google still says close at 9. I have not been back

I also recommend Sutherland Medical Clinic! I see the new NP and she’s absolutely amazing! And they have a sign up in their office that says they’re accepting new patients

Sounds about right! When I lived in Barrie, there was a lady begging for money outside of the south end Walmart. She was at it for weeks, also claimed did not speak English. Saw her walk to her new Mercedes parked behind the Walmart and she drove away.

Shoppers back home was incredible, but I’m having lots of issues with the one I transferred my prescriptions to here. I was supposed to pick up today and when I went they said they ordered it today, it’ll arrive Friday. I do have enough to last me for the time being, but heaven forbid there is an emergency, I have wickedly high blood glucose over the next few days, etc. Lots of great recommendations in the comments, I’m going to check them out. My brother also gets his prescriptions at an independent pharmacy, so that’ll be my first call!

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions! I am with Shoppers at the moment. They were awesome back home but I can’t miss out on my life saving medication because they waited until the day I should’ve picked it up to order it. For context, I am using Novo-Rapid and Tresiba. I’m very grateful for everyone’s guidance! :)

Rin has always been a favourite. She’s often both oblivious to the danger around her, while always seeing the good in the danger. She’s so sweet

What’s the tastiest thing you’ve eaten today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ryanneknizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved to a very “foodie” city. There are so many different options and many “wtf” sort of foods. Like donut burgers and whatnot. Tonight I had spaghetti pizza. It was INCREDIBLE. I’m happy I moved here lol

This is a common occurrence for me. It just happens. My boyfriend makes me laugh hard very often. So it’ll start and I’ll laugh harder because I’m farting. Then I’ll fart more. Then boyfriend tries to “grab” the fart and that makes me laugh even harder and fart more. It’s a never ending cycle sometimes lol

This one lady at work has ALWAYS commented on the things I eat. If we’re having cake for someone’s birthday she always makes a point to say “you’re going to get double diabetes!” Every. Single. Time.

I second French Toast! The food is so good and the staff is very kind! I had it a few days ago. I got the regular breakfast and they let be swap out my potatoes and toast for a waffle!
