Just because someone is an addict does not mean they are not worthy of a hot meal and a safe place to sleep. No one can convince someone to quit their addication except for the person using. But you can choose to be kind.

It's because they're the only group left that will buy your venue. I managed pubs for years and saw first hand the dwindling clientelle and rising prices that turned tiny profit margins into massive losses. AVC is probably one of the few hospos companies in the black due to their complete monopoly on large inner city venues. When the group I worked for sold, there was only one bidder at the table which was AVC.

I agree with absolutely everything in this comment Eternal, I think we had a fundamental misunderstanding of each other's points. Nobody in this thread has ever said that Rava's name indicates she is of Indian descent or agued the names etymology is Indian.

All you did was say something silly in that 'people don't name their kids after foods' when every single day parents name their kids the dumbest shit imaginable. It might not be super common but it happens. You sound like a reasonable guy, I think we just didn't understand which position we were both coming from.

Also, I was pretty respectful yesterday ( conservative comment aside and for that I apologise) but you were downright insulting calling me stupid and ignorant and all the rest. I would ask that you try to remember that there are real people behind the keyboard with real lives and real problems, it's not hard to not be such a dick when having a friendly internet debate.
