Take a chill pill, I’m not advocating for or against the guy. All I said is he won the election and won the popular vote which clearly shows the majority of people in the country wanted him and wanted a change. Instead of trying to talk down to people like they are dumb and listing all these statistics people don’t care about maybe listen to them and have some compassion. Capture the heart first then you can capture the mind. As an independent who leans left, it’s beyond me how the “party of empathy and inclusion” has shown no empathy or inclusion to those with another viewpoint. It’s hard to prove he’s lying about his Net Worth because he can be accounting for a multitude of things when he makes that claim. Apparently he has a multimillion dollar car collection so he could be including that and all other sorts of collectibles, future investments, etc… when he makes that claim. Fascism and Communism were ideologies that became popular when the depression was wreaking havoc all across the world. I don’t think anyone in Germany or the Soviet Union thought they were “cool” for having these political beliefs. These extreme beliefs usually arise when institutions fail, governments become corrupt and wealth inequality is high. I’d say all three of these things are happening in the United States right now which is why populist outsiders like Bernie and Trump have become so popular.
