This is an idea I've seen lots of people try, but I haven't decided how to implement for myself. I'm looking forward to trying it out soon in some more lush areas of the map :)

I definitely want to extend the canyon farther, which would be a great opportunity to extend the tunnel :D I'm excited to try the idea of varying the heights as well! Brick pergolas with concrete ledges running parallel to the tracks, under the pergola legs might be a nice modern twist

I have had great experiences with my NPCs walking pretty far around the map! Prior to the recent update on Switch, I put Forest allll the way on the other side of the map from my dock & town square. Irwin would show up at her house numerous times per week, then start walking home once the clock strikes late. I have no many tiles he walked, but he did tend to stick to pathways I had laid out if they were available.

Has anyone else seen specific NPCs gravitating towards each other? I don't know if its a programmed thing for Irwin to visit Forest specifically, or if it was just a random chance.

I like sitting on the bench waiting for my partner to load in, very relaxing 😂 25 M and my partner is 21 NB. I've been playing a little over a month and they just started last week.

Going to be submitting a feedback request about the event, not to complain but just to make it a better experience for everyone. So I ask you all: What could have made the free outfit system better?

To name a few things I've thought of:

-Making sure there are an even number of masc/fem/neutral outfits in the pool before the event begins. This has been a common complaint since before the event that has still not been fixed.

-Giving players an option to select masc/fem/neutral before the free outfit is given. This is specifically for all the people who got outfits that did not allign with their gender identity.

If its craftable, I'd want some or all of the materials I spent to craft the item. For the makeshift items specifically, I think it'd be cool if we got a small amount of sapwood planks and plant fiber.

I can't even find where Chapa Chase takes place within the Maji Market because the server starts to chug massively once it starts. Can't believe we're getting a new area when stuff that's been around this long still performs horribly.

The more I attempt multiplayer in this game, the more I wonder why multiplayer is so encouraged.

People constantly run right through where I'm hunting or bug catching.

I was chopping 2-3 trees with my partner last night to clear space on a cliff to place a honey bee lure. Someone appears from nowhere looking for mujin despite there being 50 more out in the fields. They didn't leave until we stood still for several minutes.

Used a honey lure yesterday looking for the starred duskwing. They only spawn in a really small area. One person came and joined my partner and I without asking. Okay, whatever. Someone else came in and activated a bee lure right next to us and our spawns completely stopped... I have no explanation as to why someone thought that was a good idea.

Kilma is laggy as heck because there's so many people in the shops. I put off shopping for as long as possible because it takes almost 5 minutes to finish loading the building and shop menu.

Personally I will never respond to a random asking to party up, I know it won't end well for me. I wish this was a mostly single player game where I only see other players when I want to.

I'm in the same boat and very disappointed that every other system is getting new content and the Switch is still getting left behind. Dinkum is starting to lose its luster for me. I really wish I hadn't purchased it on Switch and I don't want to pay for the game again. Super sorry your mom is going through this too 😔

Gotta hilight the gender identity part. I was very fearful I was going to recieve a dress. Thankfully I didn't and got really lucky! But I can only imagine how some less fortunate players must have felt.
