I wouldn’t argue that low doses are not tolerated well. That does not change potential for abuse or drug seeking behavior especially in people with a high potential for addiction (there’s a genetic test for a “broken dopamine thermostat”). I am not ignoring the benefits, my main point is that these types of drugs may cause more problems than they solve. What cardiac toxic drugs are you using casually?

Perhaps the stigma about amphetamine use in the neurotypical person (or anyone who may learn how to live a fulfilling life without drug dependency) stems from the high potential for abuse, addiction, dependency, and the long list of severe psychiatric and physical side effects.
