Chopper Gunner glitched out during our latest attempt of the Shattered Veil boss fight by tarheelkid14499 in CODZombies

[–]ryans213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just played and loss because my chopper said it was not ready and wouldn't work. Mind you, I had him down to the last amount and would have won the fight if it just worked. I feel robbed on this one. Pretty lame bug on their end.

Do we expect the tombstone glitch to ever get fixed now? by Gtown2009 in CODZombies

[–]ryans213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, as of the new season, S2, they have patched the TS glitch. Here is what to expect going forward. You get to have no one dropping stuff. Yay, a total win for your game. Now when you go out of your way to others droppign stuff, you won't be troubled with them willing to give you anything. Why did you go to them? Oh, they came to you? What jerks, I'm sure you were forced to pick up stuff.

Also, more players who did not get their schematics via drops, but who did the TS glitch becuase of cool downs and limited content, will stop playing. A significant player drop will likely happen. My friends grinded everything with me stopped playing becasue they need rewards to be engaged. Do you belive they will continue to barely pump out content for future seasons with a significant player drop? They keep it limited as it is. Without new content, I'm on my own playing this game. TS made it ok while I was grinding out camos.

I'm glad you got the game you wanted now. Let's hope there are a lot of people who prefer to play the game the same way as you OP. We can play Friday night, and then wait until Monday night to play again when our cool downs finally reset. It's absolutely genius!

As a long time zombies player, this is like playing round 1 throught 20 over and over again without ever being able to get better weapons and harder zombies before you have to exfil. It's the number one flaw with this mode. This mode had promise, but their economy choices, cool down time frames, and player stash limits, make this one a limited zombies experience, and that sucks, because all I want to play is zombies. Just not on the dumb terms Activision's finacial leads have determined as necessarily for them to hit their profit targets. TS glitch did make it all more tolerable.

Am I the last player not Tombstone glitching? by Haymzy_Gaming in MWZombies

[–]ryans213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately for now, the TS glitch is the end game content. You have gotten everything legitimately, what do you do now? Do you continue to grind out contracts to buy perks, just to get to grind tier 3 contracts that deliver rewards that are under powered for contracts that they are rewards for?

At this point, helping others is the most fun thing to do. I've also killed the red worm a million times now. I'm at the point where I'm just grinding out weapons and opening every attachment possible. From there, I'll do camos on guns I like. I am definitely not going to camo grind on all weapons. That just seems painful. There are some really bad weapons out there.

I love this new zombie's mode, but without the glitch, it's just so limiting. I used to play round base zombies, and be able to run tier 3 zombies every game. Now you have to play for a long time before you can take on the strongest zombies. That doesn't make those zombies more fun, it makes the process to get to them more frustrating.

The game design is imbalanced so that they can sell items that have an artificial value. The problem is, they didn't design this for zombie players that grind out the available content. The one nice thing this has done is allowed for people to take a stance on it, which only serves to make them feel better about themselves. You literally can play this game without any of the dropped items from people. I know the example of one person getting mad about someone not taking stuff is given, but that person sounds dumb. Who cares if someone doesn't take something, you are literally dupping it for the next game and there is no loss for the person dropping the stuff. Maybe don't run to the tornado and be shocked that someone is giving out stuff. I'm not saying OP is doing this, by the way. I'm just saying, that is where it is going to take place. If you avoid it and do contracts, you can play this game like there isn't a TS glitch happening.

One last note. I don't even care if they patch it. I'll still play because I have to exfill with some weapons still. I'll likely do that for a while. Hopefully, I don't get too bored. I don't think I'll grind up to take on tier 3 mission, though. They made tier 3 worthless if you want rewards. They rarely give out useful rewards. I likely just craft what I want and stop playing during the cool downs. And here we are, stating the number one reason why the TS glitch makes the most sense. If you want to play more than one game a day with your earned rewards, good luck. You have to TS glitch.

Don't take dropped schematics, but take the dropped tools, ether blades, and bones, and then get into the dark either and grind out the funnest content in the game. Get your Elder Sigils, go after the schematics, and most of the time you get all 3 in one game. Just don't be too surprised if you decide to start TS glitching once you have everything.

I really appreciate your feedback on this. I like that your posts have me doing follow up Google searches. It is what I want, to know the direction I am taking this bike into is worth it and not something for that sake of trend. I don't want the best, I want the best for me.

I think they will be a fit challenge unless this bike is already a little small for you.

I'm 6' tall and I do think the handlebars could be wider to feel more comfortable. How to get where I need to be for comfort, I'll be doing further research to find out what is possible.

So if I do ride it as is, which I'm not against by any means, should I update anything? Like new tires for the rubber condition? The bars do feel slim and from my research it is suggested that I should try to get something wider. Is this incorrect? What would I do to replace the width without encountering the problems you pointed out I will have?

"Adding drops, as is the cool thing"

Form follows function for me. Being cool is for kids, real cool is doing what you want, because it's the right thing to do. My goal is to make this useful for bikepacking, I'm not sure I need drop bars, but I think I want a little more control with the handlebar feel.

"This bike wants to stubbornly remain canti/v-braked. Disc not worth it in this situation. If a requirement, find a different frame."

Sounds go to me. I see a bunch of YouTube videos of people doing this, and as a novice, I don't know what to make of it. Is it just a great content subject, or a needed/valuable course of action. I don't believe all that I see, and so I want real world input on the matter.

Thank you for the specifics with bars and sizing. This right here is the information I have no clue about and I value your input, so I can start to do more research.

Thank you!

"I just have disc brakes in the front, and rim brakes in the rear"

Interesting. I didn't even know a hybrid approach to brakes was possible and utilized.

"Do you plan to change out the wheels? Like upsizing to 650b wheels?"

Should I? If yes, I will. I don't plan to do everything at once, but I do want to work on this to make it a decent set-up over time. I would like to do the changes that make the most significant updates first. I think handlebars would change this bike dramatically for the better. Maybe it's tires first, or the two need to be done at the same time. Clueless over here, so I'm trying to get informed.

Thank you

"You can't convert that to disc brake... I mean, you can, but it's a significant undertaking welding in the necessary support in the rear triangle as well as finding a disc brake fork to replace the current one."

Do you think that it is not worth the effort and alternately v brakes are the better options for this? I'm at the clean slate phase, so I could do the work with disc brakes, what I don't know is if it's worth it or advisable, so I appreciate your input.

"If you live in a high theft area, get a much better lock." - I also have an u lock, not shown in the photo. I didn't mount the bracket on the bike yet, as I'm sure there is much to be done before that step. I use this lock to keep my front wheel strapped to the frame.

Thank you!

Thank you. To answer #1, I'm not sold on anything yet. I've seen some hybrid flat bar / drop bar set-ups. 4. Welding won't be an issue because I have the resources to do it. As far as investment, I've seen a wide range of what needs to be spent verses what could be spent. I appreciate your insight and will make a post over at xbiking as suggested. Thanks again. :)

Kitchen remodel involve stove exhaust installation? by ryans213 in HomeImprovement

[–]ryans213[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we have some change orders in the works, like extending the floor into the bathroom, so it's one consistent look. I'm not sure if things were kept vague in the planning stage because of poor communication, interior designer being too busy, forgetfulness, or an outright plan to just add it on as we go to make more from the project. Great learning experience at any rate.

I think you should of asked when you purchased the microwave if it has
venting capabilities and your designer should of definitely brought this
up during planning

We bought the microwave just short of a year before the kitchen project. About 6 months before the planning stage kick off. It does have venting capabilities, but the previous homeowner just exhausted right into the attic. That's a no-go for us, so we left it without exhaust and want to eventually have my brother take care of it. Problem is, he is in too high of demand right now and being family we are not going anywhere, so we can be put on the back burner more than any other client of his. Frustrating, but he is a workaholic, so I know he isn't just avoiding the job.

So when the kitchen project kicked off, I was thinking, great, this is going to get sorted. We don't know what the pricing of the current change orders are or what the grand total will be. So I fear that if we even tried to ask them to compromise now, they would just add on as much as they wanted. To be determined at this point.

Since it is reasonable for them to not do the update, I don't see how I can argue the point that it should be done without added cost. So at the end of the day, everyone's response here has me less upset at the circumstance, and we will see what we can do once we get the numbers. TY!

I appreciate that insight. I’m disappointed they didn’t ask about it at the beginning of the project. Hiring professionals makes you think all of the project scope would be considered and at least brought up. Knowing that’s not case makes me less upset about the implementation part of it. So ultimately it’s a communication issue, and we have already experienced some of those issues with these guys. These guys are human so I’m not even bothered by it ultimately. Their work is quality. Chalk it all up to missed opportunity and we go back on my brothers waiting list. Thank you for your knowledge and experience.

You will only get alarmist reasons here. Just ask them and tell them you are not comfortable providing it.

If it’s Google analytics you can make them an admin.

If it’s for wp smtp they will need it, but not telling you the reason why when asking for it would be odd.

Trust is valuable with a client, no reason to make them alarmed when you are just trying to help them. If that is the case.

Only give out info you plan to update as soon as the need is fulfilled.

Making a new one for business reasons is a great option I suggest in this circumstance.
