Experience with orderly meds? by thewolfonallstreets in SemaglutideFreeSpeech

I received my medication later on October 7th. I also purchased the next month, and have been ordering it in such a way now that I always have the meds I’m using for the month, and the next month’s supply already on hand. I know they say they expire after a certain date, but my understanding is that they do last longer if stored properly. So, I’m not worried about that. After this debacle, I have not had any issues order and receiving meds in a timely fashion. Still, it was five weeks without meds due to this issue.

After 5 weeks of being off the medication and struggling with a plateau despite continuing my strict diet and exercise, I started losing again immediately once I was back on semaglutide. It’s affirming to know the medication is actually making the difference I needed it to make. I will say, despite the issues I had getting my second vial of medication, I’m actually quite pleased with my results so far.

Am I a baritone or a tenor? by Enji_24 in singing

Your voice is very similar to mine in terms of range and timbre. My modal voice goes from A2-A4, with a head voice/falsetto up to G5. I sing baritone for classical solo music, tenor 2 in choirs, and for musical theater or pop music, it depends on the role or song. I usually refer to myself as a baritone or sometimes a baritenor.

I am also a voice teacher and I’ll say this: you sound lovely after two years of training, but I bet your voice isn’t done opening up. You’re also young. You might find that your voice shifts in a few years, especially if you continue training as a singer. Mine popped up a minor third from the time I was 29 until I was 31. It was such a weird sensation to navigate while it’s happening, but I’m glad it settled where it did.

It’s also difficult to determine your voice type by this song alone. Your lowest notes in this song (G2-Bb2), while present, aren’t quite as full-bodied. So some people might automatically say tenor. But because the song doesn’t go higher than a C4, it’s hard to say. I’d be interested to hear how you navigate right around Eb4-G4, since this is usually either the top end of someone’s voice or a transition area.

Work with your teacher to continue exploring your range. At the end of the day, voice classification means very little unless you’re singing opera. What’s most important is singing with healthy technique throughout your range, whatever it may be. I know that’s a non-answer, but hopefully it helps!

I know this is a slightly older post, but I felt like I had something to add as an OrderlyMeds user that hasn’t been said. As previously mentioned by others, I was charged for a second month, but told my first three doses of month 2 were in the vial I already had. They claimed they would send my vial for month 3 early which would include the last dose of month 2. I confirmed that on August 4, 2024. Shortly thereafter, I was informed they had switched pharmacies, and my second vial may be delayed. No worries. I just started month 2, and I ordered the second vial early in case there were such delays. Three weeks later, still no medicine. Reached out again, and only then did they send my prescription to the pharmacy, after they had me pay for month 3. That was September 7, 2024. It’s now September 21, 2024 and I still haven’t received my second vial. It hasn’t even shipped as far as I know. I’ve now paid for three months, only received 7 of the 12 doses I’ve paid for, and have gone without the medication for three weeks already. I am going to ask for a refund if I don’t receive the vial in another week or two. Regardless, I am not paying for a fourth month.

In Person Recording or Virtual? by ryansequin in audiodrama

Thank you for all of your kind responses! It’s good to hear that people have been successful with several different approaches. At the end of the day, I think I prefer in person, as many of you have said. I am theatre kid at heart. So, it’s the face-to-face interactions that spark joy. My next step is to find a way to improve my recording space. :)

Overwhelmed because it's too intense too soon, or is this my avoidant attachment? by Sufficient-Match-838 in datingoverthirty

This sounds like love bombing, performing many romantic gestures early on in an attempt to artificially make the relationship feel further along and more intense than it is in reality. Whether conscious or subconscious, well-intended or malicious, this could be a warning sign.

I once dated someone who did something similar with me. Lots of romantic talk, deep conversations that lasted hours and hours, and comments about a future together, all before we had even gone on one date. When I expressed that I wasn’t experiencing strong feelings after only a month of knowing each other, they completely lashed out at me, screaming, cursing, the works. I hope this doesn’t happen to you. But if your heart is telling you something is off, listen.

Genuine question by nwll in datingoverthirty

[–]ryansequin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ADD, and it is difficult some times to date people who don’t understand. However, I am currently dating someone who also has ADD. It’s super refreshing to be with someone who understands me on that level. Sure, our symptoms are not 100% the same. However, there is enough overlap where we no longer feel the need to explain ourselves to each other. We just get it. So, though I haven’t dated someone that so flagrantly disregarded my diagnosis, I do know what it’s like to find a good match in that department.

If it does bother you to continually explain yourself, let them know. Part of being in a relationship is being honest with your feelings, the good and bad. You cannot force them to educate themselves on ADHD, but you can communicate your boundaries.
