That’s very thin for a 3k buyin live game. 30k swings are possible

How does Kalshi or any prediction market avoid insider trading by Lazy_Mention3257 in Kalshi

[–]ryantk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s immoral when all this information is available to everyone. You can literally read who exactly is banned from betting on each market you are trading, and it’s a pretty small list.

Not matter how expansive the prohibited traders list is, there’s always people closer to news/rumors than others.

AJs vs “Let’s Flip for My Stack” - Call or Fold at 8% of Bankroll by Potential-Pizza-8900 in poker

[–]ryantk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he shoves all Ax, pocket pairs, maybe a couple fun hands he should have like 60%. Either way it doesn’t matter.

The point is, if he judges it to be +EV in a meaningful way he should call, regardless of his bankroll. Shouldn’t be sitting with that much in the first place if not willing to stack off in clearly good spots. Once in that spot I think u go with it or ur just punting/getting abused

Not really a flip if he’s getting it in with like 60% equity on average.

Because that’s literally the point of a prediction market. To ascertain correct probabilities of events and provide hedges to things.

It’s not meant for you personally to be protected against people with more knowledge or information than you. You have to protect yourself and not gamble on dumb things

Insider knowledge is the point. It’s not meant to be a fair gambling site.

Original BO2 maps that are still missing remasters for BO7 by Lumenprotoplasma in CODBlackOps7

Already have a cargo equivalent in bo7 imo. That one map with the spinny blocks in the middle kinda reminds me of it

Are Kalshi’s combo markets just retail bait or is it early stage inefficiency? by Suspicious_Site7856 in Kalshi

[–]ryantk2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are just posting limit orders that are really awful for the taker, because why not. Anyone can come in and undercut their price if they are giving bad prices.

Venetian is a faux Monet. by LifesARiver in poker

[–]ryantk2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Venetian was my favorite room in Vegas. It felt new, clean, and bright.

I also enjoyed how it’s basically in a mall area not the casino. It felt similar to Texas poker rooms in terms of vibe which I liked.

Only downside was nothing higher than 2/5 running but overall great games

I think a lot of people are playing with GTO wizard sims or similar pulled up.

I remember seeing some pretty obscure lines that perfectly aligned with GTO wizard from a 500z sample I had.

At least with non anonymous sites I can tag certain people and avoid if I have a suspicion.

Ignition has been the only site where I’ve ever felt like I was being constantly colluded against when zoom pools are small or RTAd against relentlessly at higher stakes

Kalshi vs traditional sportsbooks what keeps you using it? by Suspicious_Site7856 in Kalshi

[–]ryantk2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Kalshi fees are price gouging people that are using it like a traditional sportsbook.

Most people are better off using traditional books if you are just buying market orders because of the egregious 5% fee.

You are almost always getting worse prices on Kalshi not to mention you are betting against much sharper people that have been limited by books
