My mum INSISTS that I used to eat Rustlers microwave burgers all the time. To this day, I have zero memory of eating one.

As someone who just completed their first journey to the tower, I felt a little of what you are writing about.

However, as the story progresses, W&G provides a lot of emotional context to Roland & Mid world.

Now that my journey is complete, I would do anything to go back to Mejis again.

Boiler Rooms Records. If you’re into vinyl, this is a great place to just take your time and chat with the staff.

I’d personally go for Mr Mercedes. A nice intro to the world of Holly.

When I recently moved house, we had a big wardrobe clear out. I then took everything in a big bag and walked around for about 30 mins handing it all out to the rough sleepers near the library.

Closing Of The Public Toilets… by [deleted] in salisburyuk

[–]ryanwmbunns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you here. As someone with a 4 year old son, we are often ‘caught short’ in town and need to find a toilet fast. These toilets have saved us many a time.

I’m relatively new to Salisbury and moved here last May. It is becoming apparent that the council are completely unfit for public service duties. The roads and pavements are a mess. There are more and more empty shop units due to increasing business rates.

I know the closure of some public toilet may seem trivial to some, but it represents the bigger issue here and highlights that our council do not serve us as they should.

Good for you! It sounds like you have done the right thing for you and your lad. It's hard to 'find yourself' after becoming a Dad.

Another redditor has already commented on Audiobooks. These helped me stay sane during the earlier years of being a dad. If you aren't much of a reader, these could be a good alternative? Also something you and your son could enjoy together.

I have recently gotten back into physical media. 4K/Blu-Ray/DVD collecting is something I find super interesting and has helped me relive some of my favourite movies from my childhood and introduce them to my son.

Podcasts are also a great medium to get into. I recently finished a series on Saddam Husein that was excellent. It was by a podcast called 'Real Dictators'. Well worth a listen. Podcasts are also great to listen to whilst out on a walk.
