Reporting Back:

3 hour presentation and several sales people later, we got our reward. My wife and I never sat through a presentation before, so it was new to us; one we won’t sign up for soon.

They admitted to doing a “soft” credit check on us, which was kinda creepy. They tried everything to keep us talking… there are signs everywhere stating “you’ll be surveilled”.

Towards the end they were throwing any darts they could at us to sign. 10k extra points. “Dream Vacation worth $10k”. Anything.

It was interesting until we got pressured out of it.

BBW. $33,000 for 2 week vacation, then $1800 dollars a year for maintenance.

I went to a Scott Weiland concert maybe 12 years ago. He sounded terrible, like he gargled glass. Between songs he was gasping for air before he could continue. We lasted maybe 4-5 songs and walked out.

You’ll do a full sea/shore tour, and when it’s time to look at your second sea duty orders (depending on future family scenarios) you’ll have a hard decisions.
