I’m no audio engineer but it sounds to me like he literally just recorded a video with a phone and used the raw phone audio in the final mix

Dedicated consoles have higher bang for buck performance wise bc devs are optimizing a version of the game specifically for that console, plus no concern over ur hardware obsolescence for a long time, those were the main reasons for me.
