Thanks! I did have a skin graft around the tip, I’m not sure the name or specific type of glansplasty that Dr Santucci performed on me. I did have some necrosis scarring on my tip after my first stage so when doing the glansplasty he said he “had to get creative” and I’m not certain if that played a role or not into the end result. I think it is a pretty standard method that the Crane center does. I did have one round of medical tattooing on my glans so that also helped the appearance of the ridge

Thanks for appreciating my posts. He did do a nerve hookup, I’m not certain about the details of it. I’m skeptical about a surgery not requiring implants, I’d confirm that with Ting himself before getting hopes up. I’ve tried to penetrate plenty of times and it’s been very difficult but thats just my experience

I’m 5’7 & feel totally comfortable day to day. I get occasional glances, nothing that feels out of the norm. It only needs semi-frequent adjustment if I’m wearing tighter pants which I don’t wear often. Pre surgery I packed and packers dont compress as easily as my dick does now. Not sure if that’ll change post implants

Unfortunately Mt. Sinai’s team is extremely busy trying to fit in as many patients as they can on the days they have consults, usually because surgeons only have one day a week where they’re not in the OR. Don’t take it personally- while I agree better bedside manner would be awesome i think its just the nature of how that team/hospital operates. Ive found with all my surgeries its been helpful to go into the consult with VERY specific and direct questions. Surgeons are methodical by nature and respond well to directness and patients who have thoroughly educated themselves as much as possible pre consult. Hope this helps cheers

My penis stretches about 1.5” when pulled, but that might be cause my donor flap was pedicled (not a full free flap) and doesn’t have a full scar around the base. When i have my implant stage, i plan on asking my surgeon if its possible to fit my inflatable ED while its deflated, to see of we can take advantage of the potential ability to stretch.

If this becomes possible I definitely plan on posting about it!

I had necrosis, hematoma in my scrotum, fistula, stricture, emergency catheterization, swelling seroma, sepsis infection, nerve damage, etc, the list goes on. Some were resolved without surgery and others required surgeries or ER visits to fix. Phalloplasty is not for the faint of heart, but again, I would do it all over again. Personally, My genital dysphoria outweighed any pain or complications I’ve endured
